Alden was going through his IG notifs to check on what's happening at the walk of fame event. His doctor asked him to rest due to his persistent cough & cold. Meng begged him to go home and sleep so he'll fully recover. Alden was running a fever when he said goodbye to Meng this afternoon. He's tickled pink by the look of deep concern clouding her eyes. She's so sweet, asking him about his meds & the time he should be taking them. Sending him text messages to remind him to take the meds.
Wow, Meng really looks beautiful in all her pictures, he sort of feels bad he missed the event and most importantly, missing being with Meng.
It was almost 10:30 in the evening and everyone was getting ready for bed. His dad brought his dinner to his room earlier & also to check on him. They had a good talk and he reassured him that he's okay, feeling much better after the long sleep he had.
Alden heard a soft knock on the door, he looked up from his phone, saw his dad peek thru the door.
"Anak, may bisita ka." He said, mouthing his question if he was decent.
Alden frowned his confusion, who would come & visit at this hour?
"Lika, pasok ka iha," he faintly heard his dad say then got the surprise of his life.
As if in a dream, he saw her by his door, holding a soup bowl, smiling sheepishly.
"Meng!" Alden exclaimed, "paanong..?"
"Nice to see you, too." Maine said jokingly.
She gave him a peck, he put his arms around her waist and hugged her.
"Gabing gabi na, sinong kasama mo?" Alden inquired with concern.
"Don't get me wrong, I'm so happy to see you but I can't help but worry. It's a long drive."
"Pinahiram ako ng driver ni Tatay, why aren't you in bed, sir?" She said, "kala ko bed rest po tayo?" Arching her left brow as she asked the question.
He went to his bed to lay down, still firmly holding her hand and pulling her with him to join him in bed.
"Oist, shokoy, behave ka ah."
"Sabi ng dad mo konti lang kinain mo eh," she said with her now famous, unconscious pout.
"Walang panlasa bibig ko, pero since andito ka..." Wiggling his brows mischievously.
"Ano pang hinihintay mo dyan, higa na," Maine sa softly.
"Uy, wow, sarap naman pakinggan non, paki-ulit nga," Alden requested.
"Ang alin?" She asked distractedly while fixing the soup bowl on the table beside his bed.
Alden is now lounging on his bed, looking up at her.
"Yung higa na, na parehong tono nung kanina, aray ko!" He laughed while Meng hit him with a pillow.
"Keep your mind off the gutter, Shokoy, higa ka na para makain mo na tong chicken soup." Maine was shaking her head.
"Bat andito ka, Meng, tats naman ako" he joked.
"O eh ayaw mo yata, uwi na lang ako," she mused.
"Ito naman nagtatanong lang. Di nga, why are you here feeding me soup? O dahan dahan lang may laman pa bibig ko."
"Ayaw mo ba?" She pretended to act stern.
"Gustong gusto, di mo ba pansin kilig ko?" Alden chuckled softly.
"Just shut up and eat, Shokoy, open wide!"
Still feeding him soup.
"Meng, bat andito ka?" He asked again, trying to stay serious but can't help from smiling.
"Kasi may sakit ka, di ba team tayo, so dinalhan kita ng soup and fruits." Maine said fully concentrated on her task in feeding him soup.
"Mamatey? Aray! Joke lang" he said after she pinched his 'hamburger.'
"Alis na ako after you take your meds ah, medyo malayo pa byahe ko," Maine added.
"Dito ka na lang," auto-pabebe mode si Alden. "I mean, may spare room naman. I'll ask dad to call Tatay para mag paalam. Sabay na tayo bukas puntang QC. Whatchuthink?" Asked Alden excitedly
"Hmm, sige pero ako na tatawag kay Tatay, kakahiya naman sa dad mo." She said.

After calling her Tatay to let him know her whereabouts & explaining the sleeping arrangement, she & Alden's sister went to get her bag of spare clothes from her van. On the way in, Alden met them by the door.
"Hey, back to bed, kaya na namin to," Maine protested. "Sige na, I'll go in to say goodnight after I freshen up."

She found Alden propped up on his bed reading a book and eagerly looked at her as she comes in. She smiled shyly and came to stand near his bed.
"Umm, pwede bang dito kami ni Rizza matulog sa room mo? Para may kasama ka?" She asked shyly.
"Pwede pero gusto ko ikaw lang, araykupo hahaha" Alden joked, "sige na nga if you insist."
"Rizza is just finishing some school work then punta na sya dito."
"Text ko sya para wag na sya mag-abala, aray, aray haha!"
Maine joined him in bed and looked over his shoulder to the book he's reading.
"Na-miss mo ba ako, Maine?" He asked, his face still buried in the book.
"Oo naman, andaming tao kanina, wala yung personal Rogelio ko."
"Aww wawa naman baby ko," Alden said turning to face her, putting his arms around her.
"Hey, stop na nga pabebe mode mo, nakakahiya kay Rizza baka ma-shock makita tayo nakapulupot sa bed!" Maine said teasingly.
They were enjoying their little talk about the event when Maine covered her yawn.
"Uy sleep na tayo, antok ka na. Dito ka na sa bed, I'll carry you lang dyan sa side ni Rizza mamaya."
"Ok lang?" Maine said softly, her eyes already closed.
Alden just watched her as she drifted to sleep. She looks tired, but still, he can't seem to wipe this big goofy smile off his face at the thought of her coming all the way here to be with him.
He made himself comfy beside her on the bed, moving really slow so as not to wake her. She reached for him and snuggled close. He froze for a moment, heart skipping a beat at her closeness. He was waiting for her to roll back to her side but she didn't. Bahala na si batman, Alden thought and wrapped his arms around her, snuggling.
Riza found them snuggled together sound asleep. She turned off the lights, leaving the room in muted darkness.
"Goodnight, babies." She whispered, closing the door behind her.

Alden was dreaming, everything around him smells so good. He inhaled the scent & heard a soft moan. He opened his eyes & was confused for a second. His entire face was buried in Meng's shoulder, his arms firmly wrapped around her waist.
Her back was completely plastered to the front of his body. Shit! We. Are. Spooning!
He thought. Ok calm down, mind off the gutter. Just then, Meng moved her butt hitting his crotch. Gulp! Jeez, not good!
Inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale!
Alden wanted to clear his now parched throat but didn't want to disturb her deep slumber. He got a pillow & put it in between the pitched tent on his pajamas & her butt. And tried to go back to sleep, with every inch of his body now feeling every single inch of hers.
