We stayed in the room in a calming silence for a couple of minutes until a shamefully loud growling from my stomach made itself known, it was quite embarrassing but Lilly only stood up from the chair chuckling softly
" I'll go make you some Japanese pumpkin soup" she winked as my eyes lit up- it's been ages since I had it " the doctors said your tummy won't handle solid or greasy food so soup should be okay for now" with that she crossed the room and left quietly closing the door behind her , looking at the now closed door I glance around the room to finally take in where I've been sleeping for hours, it's Zeus's bedroom and I didn't step a foot here before- everything is just as modern and chic as the rest of the penthouse and probably even more, it's his room after all, I took in everything from the walk in closet located right next to the main door to my right- I can't locate any other door for the bathroom so I'm guessing there's a joint one inside

In the left half of the room there's a small lounging area, a beige sofa below the tall glass window that's covered in black silk curtains, there's three other matching ones. Another but bigger sofa in the middle and a flat screen TV in the wall ahead of it. That's all the things I could see from my position In bed, everything is in black, grey or beige. A well appointed room.
I looked to my right side again to the huge wolf still sitting and nuzzling me, I was still laying on my back so I slowly, careful of my aching bones I turned my body to lay on my side and take a good look at the wolf ahead of me.

He really is beautiful, and oozed of power and control despite his cuddly and whiny act that make him seems like a small puppy but I know he's everything but. I'm pretty sure it's because I'm his mate and we are this close, it's a common thing for wolves, our way to show affection, so I don't think it's that different for an Alpha as well
Unlike other wolves who have yellow bright eyes, his were blue, well I don't really know what color my own wolf's eyes are but I know the common color is yellow so what I'm seeing now is just beautiful, it looks even better with his grey fur, thick dark grey fur that I can't stop myself from rubbing my hands through it! He does seem like he's enjoying himself so I didn't stop
"You're beautiful" I said quietly and got a sloppy lick all over my face that drenched with saliva and I couldn't help but giggle much to my surprise
"Eww don't do that" I wiped my face with the back of my hand and swatted his nuzzle away from me but he wasn't having any of that, he kept licking and purring, more licking, a big giant puppy
"you're so adorable" he half sat, half stood and huffed before turning his face away from mine
