“Avery, I’m booorrrreeeddd!!!!” X whined.

I rolled my eyes.

“Then find something to do.” I said as Kyler pulled me closer to him.

I was already sitting on his lip and he was kissing my neck and shoulder.

We were sitting on something, I don’t even know what, I think a table, behind the couch so we weren’t really being seen.

“But there’s nothing to dddooooo!”

“Then roam around the castle. Find the music room. Or, have a scavengers hunt.”

“How would I do that?”

“Take a piece of paper and tally how many blue, pink, and red things you find, how many doors and windows too.”

“That sounds boring.”

“Well, at least it will keep you busy.”

X groaned and stood, Kyler already pulled away from me.

“Fiiinnee!!” he said in his whiny, high-pitched tone before grabbing a slip of paper and a pen.

“See ya in a few hours.” he said, leaving.

If you haven’t noticed, X tends to draw out words more than needed.

Allie was in her new room, sleeping,

Kody and Alex left an hour ago.

And now, thankfully, X was gone.

Wow.

That sound really bad.

As soon as the door shut, Kyler was back to kissing my neck and shoulders.

He started slipping my shirt off but I grabbed his hand.

He looked up at me.

“Not here and not now.”

“But you said-” he said, starting to whine.

What’s with all the whining here lately?

“I know what I said, and I said ‘there’s always tonight’. That doesn’t mean now and I wasn’t completely serious.”

“Aww!! Now I’m sad.” Kyler said, pouting, hoping it would work on me.

“That doesn’t work on me.”

“It used to.”

“No it didn’t.”

“I know. I was just hoping I’d somehow fool you.” he said kissing me.

“Well it didn’t.”

“Damn.” he said as he pulled me closer and continued kissing me.

“You sir, are a real pain in the ass.”

“Not yet I’m not.” he said with a sly smile.

I rolled my eyes and got away from him, even though he tried to keep me next to him.

After walking down a few halls, I heard X shriek.

I ran as fast as I could to him, Kyler beating me there.

Stupid vampire speed.

“What’s wrong X?” I asked, trying not to sound panicked.

“That!” he said pointing at an open door.

Kyler and I both looked what was inside.

A pool.

I had completely forgotten that we were on the first floor.

I forgot he had a pool too.

I remember coming across it when I was trying to find my room when I first came here.

I hit X’s shoulder.

“Don’t scare me like that!”

“Sorry, Av, didn’t mean to scare you.” X said hugging me and pecking my forehead, clearly making Kyler jealous.

“X, you know I hate when you kiss me. I love you and all, but still.”

“I know. That’s why I did it.” he said smiling, his famous smile which was a mix of, mischief, and annoyance.

I rolled my eyes and got out of his grip, trying not to laugh.

Kyler took my hand as X ran back to his room and Allie’s to wake her up.

For some reason, he didn’t like swimming alone. It was weird.

Kyler led me back to the room and laid me down on the bed.

“What were we just talking about?” I asked, as he kissed my neck, shoulders, and jaw.

He smiled into the next kiss.

“Pppllleeeeaassee!?” he begged.

“Not now.”

He started giving me the puppy dog face.

“That doesn’t work on my either. Sorry.”

“Well, you’re no fun.”

“I know.”

Kyler pulled me closer to him, our bodies pressed against each others.

Until, X, knocked on the door.

“Come. Swimming. With. Us. Now.” he stated, slowly, making sure he was being annoying.

“Be out in five.” I called.

“YAY!” X practically screamed.

So, Kyler and I changed.

I walked out of the bathroom to find Kyler in his black swim trunks.

His jaw dropped and his eyes widened when he saw me in my black bikini.

“Why must you taunt me?” he asked, pulling me close.

“Because I can.” I said, pulling away and he took my hand before we walked down to the pool.

If we didn’t X would have dragged us out of the room and threw us in.
