Recap:

The forest was a few feet from away from us. I could barely control body. I began to run to my sanctuary.  But he was following me. I yelled, "Don't follow me, Steven! Leave!" My voice was shaky.

"I have to see that you're going to be okay!"

"No. Go. Now," I growled.

"Fuck that! I'm not letting you go," Steven shouted.

I stopped somewhere in the forest. Steven was almost near me, but something froze him in his tracks.

The black of anger and fury finally made its way throughout my whole system. The shaking stopped and I was calm.

That's because a wolf took my place, with my human body nowhere in sight. And right in front of... Steven.

Chapter 17: Part 2

=Victoria=

I stared at Steven's frightened expression through my wolf eyes. He was gaping at me.

"V-V-V-V-Victoria?!" Steven yelled.

"I'm sorry," but it came out as a bark for me. It caused him to fall onto his butt and he was still staring.

'I want you to know you're the first guy I ever had real feelings. But my stupid actions and lack of self control fucked it up.' I wish he could read minds so he can hear me.

Steven laughed. "I'm dreaming. Yes, that's what it is! I'm dreaming!" But we both knew he didn't believe that. This was reality.

I shook my fur and approached him step by step. As I did that, he crawled backwards as he continued to look at me.

"Don't hurt me," he whispered.

'Never, you fucking idiot. Gosh, how retarded are you?' That going through my mind was aimed for him.

I bent down towards him and Steven froze. My tongue fell out and I licked the side of his face. His face scrunched up and I felt offended. It was a sign of affection for me. Jeesh.

I growled at him and backed up.

"Victoria, I'm sorry," he cringed.

I brought my head up and howled into the night. The moon was full and... Nope, the moon was just full. Nothing like in those stupid legends are going to happen to me.

And I ran away deep into the forest, yet again.

=Teresa's POV=

I wrapped my arms around Brian's neck as I said goodbye. "I love you, Brian. Tonight's double date was awesome!" I whispered.

Brian rested his forehead against mine. "I agree. I love you more, Teresa."

I frowned and removed my arms from his neck. I grabbed the collar of his shirt and sneered, "Listen here. You do not say that, Mister. 'Cause I love you way to much than 'more'. Do you understand me?"

"Oooh," Brian whistled. "You being so feisty is such a turn on."

For confirmation, I looked down and then blushed and looked back up. "Gosh, it turns on everybody, even my own best friends!"

"That's because you're a-fucking-mazing!" he flicked my nose.

"Oh, I know," I smirked. "Now, leave, shoo shoo." I waved my hand forward.
