That is my problem!

I was sitting all alone on my four poster bed. Thinking of everything. I'm mad at Ron for asking me that stupid question. I'm mad at Harry for making me say my answer out of annoyance. I'm mad at myself for admitting my feelings. After years and years of slacking, I finally heard footsteps and realized that they are already here. I groaned when I can hear footsteps getting near the dormitory, so I decided to hide in the bathroom. I pressed my ear into the door and listened and breath a sigh of relief when it was only lavender and this other girl

"I mean it's weird isn't it kath wasn't in the great hall and Harry was all sad" lavender said

"I think Harry loves her" the other girl said. When those words came out of her mouth, I can't help but feel hopeful. I always thought Harry liked this ravenclaw girl I don't know the name of. But both of them keep seeing each other. I can't help but plaster a smile on my face thinking of Harry liking me back. I went out of the bathroom just as lavender and her friend were gone from our dormitory and Hermione came in. I told Hermione everything I heard and everything I felt and she started being crazy

"We should name your son Carlo" Hermione said planning my future.

"Whatever Mione, I'm going to sleep. Good night!"

"Night!"

Next morning

As I awoke, I felt really happy remembering that there's a chance that Harry likes me. I took a shower and wore my uniform but it still was too early so I went to the boys dormitory to look for Harry only to see his bed messy and his glasses are gone. He must've left already cause he never wears glasses when taking showers. Not that I saw or anything. But I just kind of cuddle with him sometimes and I observe a lot of things. When I made up my mind that Harry was in the great hall, I decided to go there.

In the great hall

When I entered the great hall, it was empty except for a few people. Just like I expected. I scanned for Harry in the Gryffindor table and saw him I started to make my way over him when I saw him talking to that ravenclaw girl again. All my hopes of having a relationship with Harry and a son named Carlos Potter were crushed. I quietly exited the great hall and sat by the black lake only to be joined by drake

"Hey Kath!" He said cheerfully

"Hey..." I replied quietly

"Hey, what's wrong?"

"Harry. Ravenclaw. Me being hopeless romantic."
I said

"Oh..." I looked at him only to see pansy having smoke in her ears over drakes shoulder

"Anyway drake, as much as I would like to chill with you, your girlfriend wannabe has smoke coming out of her ears and face as red as a tomato. Bye drake" I bid my goodbye and pecked him on the cheek because that's what I always do when I say goodbye to boys partially because I want to piss pansy off. I made my way into the great hall to see that Harry, Ron, and Mione are already sitting there together. I sat beside Ron while Mione was at  the right side of Ron and Harry all alone across us.
I ate silently and I can feel the tension so Ron being Ron, talked to me. And it turned out, only Ron and I were talking while Harry and Mione were just listening. Finally, professor mcgonagall gave me my schedule and it turned out, we all have the same classes but Hermione took an extra few. By few, I mean a lot. Since I already got what I wanted, I exited the great hall and went to transfiguration early I was the only one there, that was what I thought, when Ron, Harry, and Mione came in as well. Ron and Mione sat at the back of me and has a vacant chair next to Mione. I hoped that Harry would sit beside Mione, but instead, he sat beside me

"Hi kath" Harry greeted. I simply nodded. I was very thankful cause Seamus and Dean went in. So quickly, I got my bag and transferred my seat next to Seamus. I could see the hurt on Harry's eyes and i couldn't help but feel guilty. But he got what he deserved. Harry James Potter made sweet gestures so that I'll hope that he likes me back. And that will forever be an imagination of my own.
Transfiguration was over already and it was time for care for magical creatures. I walked with Hermione and we talked and laughed when something weird happened. A man. A man that is similar to a rat stabbed me. Then it all went back to normal

"Kath, are you okay?"Hermione asked

"Yeah I'm fine. I'm just gonna go see professor dumbledore you go on ahead of me and tell hagrid I won't miss his first day. I'll just be a little late" I sprinted my way to dumbledore's office and stopped in front of the gargoyle

"Lemon drops" I told the gargoyle. Then the flight of stairs revealed itself and it led me to the office

"Aahh... Young Black, what brings you here today?" I started telling him everything. The dream until the vision.

"Would you want to see your father?" He asked me

"Yes"

"You know he's nowhere to be found but if you want to see him, I would want to ask you why?"

"Because I think no I don't think, I know he's innocent"

"very well, young Black. Now, why dont you go see hagrid on his first day"

"sure will do proffesor!" As I left the office I forgot what I saw or why I'm here

I went down the castle and walked over to Hagrid's hut only to see drake getting hit by a hippogriff. must have insulted it.

"Drake!" I approached him and told Hagrid to take him to the hospital wing.

"serves him right!" Harry growled. I shot him a glare and he shut up. I looked at hermione with a pleading look and she nodded her head. she grabbed harry by the collar and dragged him away from me and Ron

"so, do you really like Harry?" Ron asked out of nowhere. I shook my head.

"No. I love him" Ron opened his mouth and closed it back. Speechless.

"Then why aren't you talking to him?"

"he already knows I like him. Because you asked me that stupid dare. And plus. He keeps talking to that ravenclaw"

"Oh. Sorry" he said guiltily

In the common room

"Hey kath-" Harry started

"Goodnight Harry" I said with a sigh and stood up to go to my room when Harry grabbed my wrist.

"Let go Harry!" I shouted now making a scene. Everyone in the room were standing still looking at us. Including my idiot brothers who were just watching.

"Not until you talk to me!" He shouted back

"What do you want me to say?!"

"I want you to tell me what's your problem! You've been avoiding me for ages! What did I ever do to you?! Your supposed to tell me what's going on with you! You are my BESTFRIEND-" finally I had enough

"That is my problem!" I shouted. Tears are now rolling down my face.

"I am your best friend. I am only your best friend. For years I have been waiting for you to like me back! But whenever you looked at me, all you see is a best friend!" I said between sobs and exited the room. But before I went out of the portrait

"I love you so much Harry" i said
