Liam: I held Y/N’s hand as the doctor squeezed the tube of jelly, it making a splatting noise as it hit her tight smooth skin. She had already had her first appointment, but I had missed it, and it made me feel terrible. So, I cleared my schedule and told her I wouldn’t miss it for the world. She grabbed my hand a bit tighter, giggling at the feeling, I chuckled along with her as the doctor began to move the wand across her stomach, distributing the jelly all over, She was silent, eyes trained to the screen, searching for the smallest movement. I did the same, except that I kept tearing every few seconds. A fat finger pointed to a small figure in the frame of the screen, small, figure appeared, making the tears that had collected spill over. She heard my sniffling and begged softly  "Baby d- don’t cry, I’m gonna cry." tears already leaving her eyes. “I just can’t believe that’s our baby." I smile, kissing the top of her head, staring at our little creation for a while longer.

Louis: I hadn’t seen Y/N in six hours, and now I was going beyond worried. There had been some kind of complication in Y/N’s delivery, so she had to have a c- section. I watched as the clock ticked by anxiety building more and more as each hand moved more and more. I had just sat down, far from being able to sleep, knee bobbing fast when a tired voice called “Mr. Tomlinson, you can come back now." All I wanted to was to scream, ask if Y/N was alright, if our baby was alright, but my legs carried me to her room. I needed to see her, both of them, just to make sure they were alright. I ran through the door frame, finding Y/N, laying in her bed, holding a blue bundle, a boy just like we had known. I smiled, relieved that they were ok. “Hey baby." I say tears stinging my eyes, catching the smallest glimpse at him. I kissed her head and she smiled, eyes tired. “Here baby." she said gesturing him to me. I take him, smiling down at him, he having most of my characteristics, except for my favorite thing about Y/N, her eyes. I looked down to say something to her, but finding her asleep made me keep my mouth shut and focus on him.

Harry: Sweaty hair was plastered to Y/N’s forehead, her voice becoming hoarse from yelling curses at me, and yelling in pain. She had decided not to get the epidural, a decision I had highly frowned upon, but she said she could do it, so I let her. I was regretting that decision now, as her face twisted in pain again. I sighed, as the doctor yelled orders at her, “Push, stop pushing, Breathe!" I was even getting frustrated. I leaned in her ear and whispered “Just remember what this is for ok? Just remember her." I smile, seeing her face relax a bit, She nods, my eyes trained on her. “Push!" is yelled at her again, and finally, after a big push, and a loud groan, she relaxes, but that’s not it. My heart stops as screaming fills the sound of the room, making everyone go silent. She’s wrapped in a blanket, and the nurse offers her to me. I shake my head  "Babe, I think you should hold her first." but she just smiles “I’ve had her for a long while, you can take her first." she smiles as I take her. She’s still covered in a bit of blood, but she has to be the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. She’s small, she’s beautiful, she’s ours.

Niall: “Come on baby, you can do it." I try to encourage, failing miserably. She was miserable, oxygen mask attached to her face, breathing heavily labored. The doctor said it was normal, that women needed to use them all the time, but something felt wrong, something was going to happen, something bad. I rubbed her side, as she inhaled, exhaled. Inhaled, exhaled. “You’re doing great baby." I smile as she gives me a weak smile in return “Alright, we’re going to start pushing agian, ready?" the doctor asks, and she nods, gripping the bed sheets. I shake my head and place her hand in mine, not caring that I already had cuts from her nails, “Ok, push." I hear, as she starts to push again, for the next few minutes, I watch her inhale, and exhale, and finally, another human is brought into the room, but he wasn’t inhaling, he wasn’t exhaling. I looked to the doctor, catching a glimpse of him, the only thing that I could really make out was my eyes and her nose. They took him, rushed him from the room as Y/N started to cry, but I did too. It seemed like hours later when finally a small blue blanket was handed to her and I finally got to see that he in fact did have my eyes, and her nose, and he was inhaling  exhaling. Inhaling and exhaling.

Zayn: I ran into the hospital, almost slipping as I did so. I had to get to Y/N, she had gone into labor and I wasn’t home. I said I would be there, and yet here I was, not sure if the baby had already been born or not. “M- Malik." I spit to the receptionist. “I’m sorry, but she’s just had the baby, there are to be no visitors " My heart sank, I had broken my promise. “But I’m her husband." I demand, needing to see her. “Well you can’t see her yet, but you can see your baby, in the nursery windows, just down the hall to the right." She says blandly, placing a sticker on my chest. I ran down the hallway, fuming that I couldn’t see Y/N, but if I could see our baby, then I would take what I could get. I stepped in front of the glass, and right in the front row, a baby girl wrapped in pink, a polka dotted beanie covered her head, a sign on her crib saying Baby Malik. I smiled, tears falling from my eyes as she shifted, yawning widely. I smiled and pressed a hand to the glass, longing to hold her when the nurse came back, telling me that I could go to Y/N’s room, and that my daughter would be taken too. I smiled, all traces of anger gone as I ran to Y/N’s room, spewing apologies  She smiled, just glad that I was there now, and as I got to hold my daughter for the first time, I placed small kisses to Y/N forehead, as we both tried to convince each other that our daughter looked like the other.
