"Some one help me!" I scream as wild dogs suround me, the wall at my back giving me no escape.
"I'm comming!" Replied a boy, his sword swinging as he fought to my side.
His face a blur
"Princess are you okay?" I nodded as I kept my tears from falling, my small hands being clutched in his as he fights our way to escape, us running as one hand kept a hold on my small one.
We kept running, me staring at his back until the tents came into view, my parents relieved faces as I let go of the boy and rush into their arms...
I jolt awake, the morning sun filling the library with light.
"A memory." I whisper sadly.
I smile though because that was the day a true friend had saved me, one I -sadly- don't remember.
I sigh softly, jumping when a snore fills the room.
In no time I quickly found the source of that snore, seeing Sky fast asleep in his chair and a giggle escaping my lips as I watched him sleep soundly.
"Whats so funny?" I hear his groggy question as my giggling.wakes him up.
"You snoring. You look so peaceful and cute!"
"I am not cute, I am manly and brave."
This caused me to have a giggle fit as I grasp my sides that throbed while I laugh and giggle at the stupid poses he was doing to appear manly.
By the end of it, we were both clutching our sides and laughing so hard that tears were coming out of our eyes.
"So what are we doing today Alli?"
"Same thing as yesterday."
"Do you want to talk to the guards that will be your elite?"
"Later, first I have to talk to a certain prisoner about what he did to my kingdom."
This gained me an approving nodd from my friend as I stood, stretching my limbs and making my way towards the door.
"First, a shower. God knows I need one."
"So thats where the smell was coming from."
I turned around and grabbed a pillow from a near by chair, swinging it and smirking when I catch Sky off guard, the poor table falling victim as it shatters while my friend falls ontop of it.
"Sorry but a Lady like myself always smell like roses, where as an ape like you smell like cow shit."
With that I sashay out of the library with a flustered Sky running after me.

I sighed looking at myself in the mirror, waiting in Sky's room while he showered.
My hair in a simple messy updo with loose curls framing my face and a simple white gold tiara upon my head. My attir was simple, a white off the shoulder shirt that fitted to my body, a red corset that hugs my frame and shows off my small waist, a white shall was attached to two rings that I wore on each hand directly above the first knuckle on each of my middle fingers.
My legs were covered in a pair of fitted leather pants that were ripped stylishly up the front of my legs stoping just above the knee, but most of that was hidden behind my black riding boots that ended just a few inches befor my knee.
Even I had to admit that I looked regal, but approachable.
I sighed again as I start looking around the room out of mild curiosity and boredom, taking my time.
There were a lot of framed pictures of Sky growing up.
Him in the garden with his mom and dad, training like the other cadets at a yung age while he waits to join the guards, friends at parties with him.
It was a little history book about his life as he kept the easy smile in each picture, the same smile I get when we talk, laugh or when he sees me emerging into a room.
I couldn't help but smile at the thought of his smiles. He had become my rock in this unsteady environment, one I hope to steady in the next few weeks.
"Sorry for making you wait."
The scent of male shower gell flows through the open bedroom door that Sky was leaning on, and I couldn't help but take in the veiw as he focused on buttoning his crisp shirt that was part of his regular uniform.
I got a clear shot of his toned body that was honed to perfection from years of training, his dark blond hair still damp with water as tendrils framed his face.
"I...um...its okay." I manage to stammer out, turning away quickly to hide my blush.
I go back to staring at pictures of him while Sky moved around getting ready,
Every picture I looked at, he was always staring at the camera, his eyes full of laughter and mischief, except for one.
In the last picture that was almost hidden was a girl in training gear, her hair braided back and a little muddy, as was her clothes, and her face held a wide grin with a missing tooth, her eyes closed.
Sky looked the same way as the girl, but he stared down at her with a gentle smile, his eyes held love in them.
Instantly I could tell that they were close.
"What you looking at?"
"A picture of you with a girl."
I could feel him behind me, his face just inches from mine as his scent fills the small area.
"Is she your sister?"
"No, the first girl I fell in love with and the only one I stayed in love with."
"Oh." Was my only response as a piece of me shattered for some reason, as if something was ripping out a piece of my heart.
A sigh escaped his lips after a few seconds of silence and he slowly backed away, running a hand through his damp hair.
"What happened to her?"
"She was taken from me by a power hungry bastard. Her memories taken away. I am still waiting for the day she remembers me."
"So she is like me then?"
"Yes!"
His head turned as his emerald eyes bore into my violet ones with a serious look.
My mouth went dry and for what seemed like eternity we just stared at each other until a clock chimed the time, ten in the morning.
"W...we better get moving." I say quietly as I turned to leave, catching his nod as I make my way through his door.
The way to the dungeon a long walk since he had taken over the suit across from my own so that he could protect me in case of an emergency.
We stayed silent for once, his mind seeming to go somewhere into his thoughts while the picture of him and the girl raced through mine with his words.
One thing was for sure, this was going to be a long day if I couldn't focus.
