DANIEL POV

Ace smiled at me. I smiled back. Naramdaman ko na lang na pinisil ni Ice ang kamay kong kanina pa niyang hawak.

The MC gave Ace a microphone. "Hey everyone, don't worry, hindi ako nanggugulo, I came here just to fulfill my promise to the girl I loved" mas malawak na ang ngiti niya ngayon, but those smiles never reached his eyes.

He's hurting.

Pinipigilan ko ang luha ko na pumatak, feeling ko babagsak na siya ng wala sa oras, and I don't want that. 

"Why didn't you told me earlier? Bakit ngayon lang? Bakit Ace?"I said habang nanghihina ang boses ko. I felt Ice squeezing my hand again. 

"Ella" that name... I've missed him calling me by that name.  "Happy 18th birthday and congratulations about you and Ice" he's stilll smiling but.. he's hurting damn it!

"Ike" Halatang nagulat siya sa pagkakatawag ko sa kanya but then hindi nawala ang ngiti niya. At that exact time, I felt Ice hand sweating... like he's hurting too. Tumingin muna ako kay Ice at ngumiti. Giving him an assuring smile.

"Anyway, baka madelay tong party I need to give you my birthday gift" Lumapit siya kay Ice at may binulong, noong una, nakakunot ang noo ni Ice pero unti unti itong nawala at tumango si Oce pagkatapos sabihin sa kanya ni Ace kung ano man yon.

"One last hug from a friend?" Tumingin ulit ako kay Ice at tumango siya. And by then, I hugged Ace. Oh gash I missed him. I missed him so much, I miss you Ike. 

After that pumunta na siya sa stage. Going to the piano I think. Umupo siya dun at humarap sa mga tao which is, kanina pa palang pinapanuod yung scene kanina. 

Naramdaman kong hinila ako ni Ice and slowly... he guided me to dance. 

Same bed, but it feels just a little bit bigger now

Ace started to sing and Ice and I started our sweet slow dance. His eyes were locked on mine pero... nahihirapan ako. Ike.. Ace.. he's here. He proposed to me, tinupad niya yung pangako niya. Nung lumingon ako kay Ace, our eyes met and... he was crying.
