Neighbors

-Chapter 30-

I looked out the window of the plane and saw nothing but clouds. I looked at Justin who was sitting next to me and he was more interested in the plastic container. He looked at me and smiled before popping a cookie in his mouth.

I smiled at him and laughed a bit because he looked like a chipmunk with his cheeks stuffed.

"I think I'm gonna marry your mom, if her cookies taste like this then I wanna know what her other food tastes like" he said and I rolled my eyes and smiled. "Hey you cant marry my mom"

"Maybe I'll just marry you" he said and I looked at him but he was putting the lid on the container and dusting off the crumbs from his pants.

Marry me? He'd be crazy to.

I looked out the window again and he held my hand and kissed my cheek.

After a while the plane landed and and picked up our bags before going through border check. We went outside and I thought I would freeze on the spot. Canada was way colder than back home. "Okay Im freezing my ass off" I said and Justin laughed. "Nah babe that cant happen, I love your ass" he said and I hit his arm "and anyways, I think my dad is waiting for us here somewhere" he said and looked around before going a direction and I just followed him.

He walked to a black car and and guy got out, wearing sunglasses and a beanie on his head with a wool jacket. He smiled when he saw us and Justin gave him a hug. "Hey dad, good to see you" he said and I walked closer as Justin pulled away and he looked at me and put his arm around my waist. "Dad this is Cassidy, my girlfriend" Justin said and smiled at me and I looked at his dad. "Hey" I said and he smiled, stepping closer and he hugged me. "I'm Jeremy" he said and took his sunglasses off. He looked alot like Justin and Justin had gotten his dad's eyes. "Nice to meet you" I said. "Please, get in the car, I have the heater on" he said and opened the door and I got in and he shut the door. They put the suitcases in the trunk and Justin got in next to me and his dad got into the driver's seat. Justin held my hand and he looked at me. "Aw you're freezing babe" he said and moved closer to me, putting his arm around me and he rubbed my hand with his warm hands. "How are you so warm?" I asked. "I grew up here babe, I'm immune to cold" he said and I smiled and rolled my eyes.

"So how long have you two been together?" Jeremy spoke up.

"Around a month now" Justin said and he nodded. "Well nice to meet you Cassidy and welcome to Canada"

We pulled up in the driveway and my eyes widened. It was a beautifully big place with cobblestone walls and when we got out the car, I saw snow was covering most of the ground. "Wow..its so beautiful here" I said as Justin got out the car and he went and got our bags out of the trunk.

"Jazmine no, go back inside, you'll get sick" I heard Jeremy say and I looked at where he was looking and a girl, I'm guessing maybe 8 years old, came running out of the house. "Justinn!" she yelled and ran to him and I looked at him. He put the suitcases down and smiled at the girl, before she ran into his arms and he picked her up. "Jazzyyy I missed you so much" he said and hugged her tight. He put her down and she looked at me before running to Jeremy and I followed Justin as he carried our bags inside. By the door I saw a little boy with a superman cape tied around his neck and he ran to Jeremy, hiding behind his legs.

A girl, maybe around my age, came up to Jeremy and he went to the living room with her, before I saw her put something in her purse and then give a quick smile to me, before going out the door. "The babysitter" Jeremy said and I nodded, understanding. Jeremy told Justin what room we would be staying in and he carried our suitcases to the room.
