The Bet

Chapter 14

Caleb's POV

I wrapped my arm around Amy during the scary part of the movie. She buried her head in my chest and closed her eyes. I comforted her immediately and told her when it was okay to look. She looked up and continued watching the movie. I felt my phone buzz in my pocket. I pulled it out and saw a message from Tyler.

'So has she fallen in love with you yet?', he asked.

'She's past that. On the second date now' I replied.

'So when you gonna tell her?', he asked.

'Soon. After a month' I replied.

'Alright. I'll talk to u later man. Have fun on your date', he said.

'Bye', I said.

'Bye', he said.

I put my phone away and focused on the rest of the movie. I had no idea why but she became scared again. So I wrapped my arm around her and let her know it was gonna be okay. Then the credits began rolling and we got out our seats along with four other people. They must be on a date to. Probably not cause one of the couples were two girls. They seemed to look like friends. The other two definitely looked like a couple considering the fact they were holding hands. We walked out the theater and I held her hand. Once we got to the car I opened the door and closed it once she was in and buckled. Then once I got in I started the car and put my music on. She looked at me shocked like I had a bad taste in music.

"Oh come on babe. We listened to your music on the way here", I said.

"Come on my music is good isn't it?", she asked.

"We're taking turns controlling the music. Next time you get in the car with me you can control the music", I replied.

"Fine. I'm gonna get you later for this", she said.

"I'd like to see you try cupcake", I said.

"Just wait until we get back to Olivia's house", she said.

"Well your in luck cause we're here", I said.

I got out the car and went over to her side to open the door. Once she was out, I closed the door and led her inside. The door was unlocked for reason. We kicked off our shoes and she practically tackled me on the couch. She wasn't kidding when she said she was gonna get me.

"Alright I'm sorry", I said while laughing.

"I won't get up until you say I'm the most beautiful girl in the world", she said.

"Alright alright you're the most beautiful girl in the world", I said

She got off me and then laid on my chest. Listening to my heartbeat. I admit what I said is true. She is the most beautiful girl in the world. To bad I'll have to hurt her though. Once the bet is over.
