As soon as lunch came I became super happy. I get to eat and sit with my best friend Audrey. I walked in the cafeteria and saw her at our table with a few of her other friends. I got in line and got my food in less than five minutes and sat at our table.

"Ok ok. What if you were on a deserted island?", Samantha asked.

"Then we would find a way to get off duh. But obviously he would use his shirt as a sail", Olivia replied.

"Hey guys", I finally said.

"Hey Amy", they all said.

"Hey Amy you should come to the party on Saturday. It's gonna be so much fun", Samantha said.

"Yeah you should totally come. It's at my place", Olivia said.

"Are you going Audrey?", I asked.

"Yeah. It's only gonna be us", she replied.

"Sure I'll go. As long as it'll only be us", I said.

"Cool. My place at 6-9", Olivia said.

"Alright. I'll be there", I said.

After school ended I walked up to my car and saw Caleb standing there.

Caleb- the most popular guy in school. The football capitan and the cutest guy in our school. He's single cause no girl is his type.

"Hey Amy is it?", he asked.

"Yeah. That's me", I replied.

"I was wondering if you would-".

"Do your homework for you? Yeah no. Sorry but I know the game that you're playing. I'm not doing your homework for you", I said.

"That's not what I wanted", he said.

"Yeah sure it's not. Don't play dumb with me. Now if you'll excuse me I need to get to my car", I said.

I reached for the handle but he stopped me. I looked him in his eyes. His blue eyes stared in my hazel ones.

"Please just let me finish. I was going to ask if you would want to go out with me?", he asked.

I stayed quiet for a moment. The last guy I dated stood me up. He never showed up for the date and left me in tears. To top it off it was also Valentine's day. So what do I have to loose? It's just one date. Maybe after this I'll get him to leave me alone.

"Fine. But after this I'm done", I replied.

"Awesome. I'll pick you up at 7 on Friday", he said.

After he said that he left and his friend gave him a high five once he got in his car. I almost forgot that he lives literally across the street from me. I got in my car and drove home feeling overwhelmed from the day I've had.
