Chapter 5

The next day I woke up happy and then became upset. Today was my date was Caleb. I hate him and I have no idea why I agreed to go out with him. Nerds and popular kids stay away from each other. Stick to the status quo kind of thing. Then if they do interact, the popular kids picks on the nerd or asks the nerd to do the popular kid's homework. That's how it's been and that's how it always will be.

"Amy are you up?", my mom asked.

"Yeah mom I'm up", I replied.

Today is not gonna be a good day...

45 minutes later I was at school hanging at my locker when I saw a familiar hand touch mine when I went to grab one of my books. I looked up and saw a pair of hazel eyes look into mine. Caleb.

"I swear you just pop up everywhere", I said.

"No good morning?", he asked.

"Sorry. Good morning", I replied sarcastically.

"That's better. Something wrong? You seem a little on edge today", he asked.

"I'm just nervous about tonight", I replied.

"Just do what you would do with your friends. We're going to dinner so you can dress casual if you want. Nothing big", he said.

"Thanks for making things less complicated and scary than what they are", I said.

"Just one of my natural talents", he said.

"Yeah uh huh. Now if you don't mind I have somewhere to be", I said closing my locker.

"Ok will you at least let me walk you to class?", I asked.

"Caleb I'll be 18 in a month. I think I'm perfectly capable of walking by myself", I replied.

"I was just being friendly", he said putting his hands up in defense.

"I think it'd be nice if you to just walk a few feet behind me. That's as far as I'm letting you be by me", I said.

"Alright I'll take what I can get", he said.

I began walking and felt his presence behind me. I don't care if he was just being nice. I just want this day and the my date later to be over.

Guys the part where Amy talks to Caleb is my favorite part cause that's how I would be right now if my friends crush didn't talk to me everyday when he should be talking to her. -_-

But it doesn't bother me at all considering the fact that that's her crush and I really want them to get together. You know who you are if you're reading this chapter. Anyway yeah this is how I would be but I'm the total opposite of Amy cause I'm nice to both genders and stuff. Also I will be doing a Q&A chapter about the characters and book so comment some questions you have and I will respond to those questions. So that's pretty much all I have to say now cause I don't know what else I should say. So that is a wrap one love flambo456 that is a wrap. Woop! Also sorry friend but this had to be said.
