Lucy's POV

It's been three years now since I left Fairy Tail and Nashi is two and a half years old, almost three. She's speaking in full sentences now and can't stop. She loves to run and play dress up with her dolls. She enjoys telling me stories which is funny because shouldn't the mother be telling the daughter stories instead of the other way around? Also, Nashi has recently started using magic. Fire magic. I guess we know who she gets it from. I've noticed her fire has a sort of shiny property, like stars. Kind of like a celestial fire. It's beautiful when she uses her magic. Everytime I look at Nashi, I see Natsu. Her pink hair, the way she smiles, the look she makes when she's upset. It all just reminds me of him.

Speaking of Natsu, I encountered him, Erza and Gray in the town I lived in, they were just roaming the streets and I was almost seen. It was only two months ago and I have lived somewhere else since. I now live in small house in the middle of the woods. Only a mile from the nearest town and it's not too far from Mai. Nashi seemed to love it here though, so I loved it too.

Suddenly, I heard Nashi slapping her hands on the coffee table in the living room. I turned around to see her looking and smiling at me. "You wanna play?" I asked and she laughed her adorable laugh. I walked over sat on the other side of the coffe table. "Okay, let's play." I said and I smiled at her.

I tapped my hand on the table as I thought of what we could play. I hit my hand on the table again and Nashi playfully fell on the floor and started laughing extensively. I looked at her wondering. She stood up and I hit my hand on the table again as she fell on her butt and started laughing and then I started laughing. I hit my hand on the table as she fell again and again until she started to get bored of this game.

She walked over to the door and fiddled with the handle. "Outside!" She said.

"Okay then, let's go outside." I said and she started jumping with joy. I took her jacket of the hook and put it on her. I then opened the door and she took off. "Whoa! Nashi slow down! Wait for mommy!" I yelled after her.

"Came and find me!" She yelled back. So she wanted to play hide and seak? Okay, it's on. I turned around and cunted to ten.

"Ready or not, here I come!" I yelled. She could ne hiding behind any of these trees and bushes. Considering those are the only hiding spots out here.

Later, I heard laughing, Nashi's laughing, and I followed the sound. When I found her, what I saw terrified me. A cloaked man was handing Nashi a small pink flower.

"Here you go. Give this to your mother for me." He said. That voice though. I could recognize it from anywhere! It was the man I encountered before I left Fairy Tail! That's him. And he's talking to my daughter.

My motherly instincts kicked in and I ran and picked up Nashi out of the mans reach. He sat there looking at the spot Nashi was previously standing and then started chuckling. "Hello Lucy." He said. Fear rose inside me quickly. As he stood up I backed away. Nashi could sense the tension and she snuggled closer to me and tightened her grip on my collar.

"What are you doing here?" I said, my words shaking as they came out.

"Oh, well, I was just here to let you know," He started and then his look darkened, "Your time's almost up."

I tensed when he said that. "W-what are you talking about?" I stuttered as held Nashi closer.

He chuckled, "You'll find out." He said. "In time." And with that he was gone. Again.

Natsu's POV

Lucy's been gone for three years now... I'm starting to get slightly irritated by the fact I can't find her. It's like I'm failing a mission. No, I am failing a mission. I'm slowly giving up. I rarely go out to look for her anymore, and when I do, I only leave for a couple days.

I walked along tbe streets of Fiore with Happy by my side. "Natsu, let's go eat!" Happy pleaded.

"Sure." I replied. I was pretty hungry. We walked to a near by restaurant. When I looked around, I realized this was the restaurant me, Lucy and Happy had first gone to. Memory's of Lucy then flooded my brain. I shook my head in an attempt to get rid of the thoughts.

We ordered our food and ate in silence, other than the occasional 'this is so good' from Happy.

We left the restaurant and we were going home. I started thinking of Lucy again as we walked down the street. I shook my head again and tried to het rid of the thoughts. I needed to let go. I had to just not think of Lucy anymore.

Suddenly, I felt something bump into my chest and I looked down. I quickly helped the lady I had knocked down back up. "I'm so sorry." I apologized to little old lady.

"Oh, that's alright. I may be small but I'm tough too." She said and I smiled. She then cocked her head to the side and furrowed her eyebrows. "Something's troubling you, what is it dear?"

I laughed nervously at her question and responded, "It's nothing, really." The lady seemed nice but I didn't want to discus my problems with a stranger.

She just smiled and said, "Well, whatever it is, have faith." And she waved and walked away.

I watched her leave for a few seconds and then I huffed a laugh and rubbed the back of my neck. 'Have faith huh?' I thought, and proceeded my way home with Happy, making sure I didn't bump into little old ladies on the way.
