Chapter One-Thirty-Seven ♬ - Happy and Content

I am happy and content to have this life,
And all the hardships and love
That it entails.

I am content and happy, because,
I have a wondrous perspective,
Unique to me and me alone.

I have:

A flute, perched upon my shoulder and my lips,
Able to create living colors,
And to speak when my words fail.

A glove for my left hand, a softball in the other,
Working with others as one,
Showing determination.

A red belt tied around my waist,
Strong at heart,
Unyielding in body.

A Crucifix on a chain round my neck,
For Jesus is my strength
And my brother in spirit.

A love in my heart,
For the ones I cherish,
An undying emotion.

A fire distinguishing my soul,
To show how hot I can burn,
And that I refuse to be weak or quiet.

And a life that God gave me to fulfill,
For it is His will for me to exist,
Creating me like no other.
