I Shouldn't be in Love

Chapter 15

*Ri Gi POV*
My mind was circling so much that I started to worry. I worried about Jeno and I, I worried about Mi So, I worried about Mark. This tangled up mess that we all have isn't going to help anyone. All this has done is ruin everyone, and interfere with their practice. I'm worried how this is all going to play out, but I can't do anything. All I can do is wait.
Mark and I were going through the dance...again. We've improved slightly, but there's still some edges that need to be fixed. After a while we took a break. I collapsed on the floor, exhausted. I reached out for my phone to check the time, 10:30 p.m. I sighed deeply and looked at Mark.
"Looks like we're staying here after hours." I said. He nodded, taking a sip from his water bottle. Minutes passed, and we stood up again for another round of practice. From beginning to end, we went through the song countless times. It was our 12th time, we started again. But during one of Mark's parts, he took a wrong step, and fell.
"Mark!" I yelled, and ran to help him. He held his ankle, which at first sight you could tell it was swollen.
"I'm okay." Mark said, "At least I ca..." he stopped. I looked at him, confused.
"What?!" I said, "What's wrong?" He held my hand.
"I..." he murmured, "I can't get up..." My eyes widened. What do you mean you can't get up?! I thought. I started to panic. I wrapped his arm around my shoulder, trying to pull him up. After a few attempts, I failed.
"I can't pick you up!" I said, panicked, "What should I do?"
"Call for help." He said. I nodded and immediately followed his orders. I ran to get my phone and dialed Jeno. Three rings later, he picked up.
"Hello?" He said.
"Jeno!" I screamed, "Please come quickly, it's an emergency!"
"What happened?"
"It's Mark, he fell during practice and can't get up!"
"Okay, I'm on my way." I was about to hang then I heard a voice in the background.
"Oppa~ Do you have to leave right now?" It said. I froze in place. My surroundings became quiet. I could hear my heartbeat ringing in my ears. That voice... I recognize that voice.
"Mi...So?" I whispered.
