Natalie's Pov

Things with Ray and I have been going really well. For some reason I expected him to slip up. To my surprise he didn't. I guess I should stop doubting him, but for some reason I can't. I lied to Ray I told him that I was pregnant so that he would change. I never stopped getting my period. I have to tell him the truth soon but he's all excited. I don't want to hurt him. I'm really afraid he'll go back to his old ways. I hope he doesn't beat the shit out of me when I tell him. 😨 Maybe I should do it when there's people around.

The next day I decided to hang out with Mia. She's been acting a little strange lately. "Mia what's good? You've been acting weird and I wanna know why."

"If I tell you promise to keep it a secret?" Asks Mia

"Only if you keep what I told you a secret."

"Okay deal." Says Mia Rick asked me to marry him."

"What did you say?"

"I said yes but we have to wait until I'm 18 or 19 I need some time." Says Mia

"That's crazy I can't believe this."

"I know I'm still in shock myself. I was so happy when he asked but i was confused too, I felt trapped. Like if I didn't say yes he would flip." 😕 Says Mia

"I know that feeling. I feel like that right now. I really can't man up and tell him the truth. Maybe you and Rick should come over for dinner. Then ill tell him so he won't flip out."

"Good idea I don't want you to get hurt." Says Mia

"Me either I didn't know what else to say. At first I thought I was pregnant but then it was a false alarm. I never told him that because he got so excited."

"It's okay I understand why you did that. If I were in your shoes I would do the same thing. I'm here for you whenever you need me." Says Mia

"Thanks boo I needed to hear that." 😘😘

Later on that day I tell Ray that Mia's coming over for dinner. To my surprise he likes Rick so he's cool with it. I spend the rest of the day making the house look spotless and cooking dinner. When they finally come I feel really nervous. At dinner I have to tell the truth. I hope everything goes well. I open the door and Rick walks in followed by Mia.

"Who is that for?"

"Rick made me bring you guys a cake. It's from the Cheesecake Factory I hope you don't mind." Says Mia

"Of course not i love sweets." 😍

Rick kisses me on the cheek, gives dap to Ray, then says Hello to Hazel. She acts shy and hides behind my leg.

We all walk towards the living room. "You guys can wait here ill be right back. I need to check on dinner." Hazel follows behind me.

When I get in the kitchen I start to panic. This can either go really well or really bad. I check on the food. Everything seems to be fine. I take it out the oven and let it cool down. I pour everyone a drink and head back in the living room. I hear Ray and Rick talking about sports.

I look over at Mia she's wearing her engagement ring. 😳 She never told Ray so that was a bad idea he will probably tell Chris. Then Chris will tell Nikki and she'll tell Aaliyah who will tell Jacob, he will tell Craig and so on. Everyone will find out. This is not going to end pretty. Every follows me to the kitchen. I grab the food and we go to the dinning room. Just when things were starting to feel good, Rick goes and says he has an announcement. "Mia and I are engaged." Says Rick

"What when did this happen?" Asks Ray

"I proposed the other day and she said yes." Says Rick

"Mia is too young to be getting married." Says Ray
