"Babe I can't find a outfit." I said on the phone to Durk. "So don't go." He replied. "Ima find one don't worry. And you said you going so when you getting a costume?" I asked. "Me and Dthang gonna be Craig and Smokey." He said and I start laughing. "Okay, ima talk to you later." I said. "Okay babe." And we hung up. "Let's be Gina and Pam." Lizzy said. "What about us?" Macy asked. "What about y'all?" Lizzy asked being stank. Something been going on between them lately. "Stop talking like that." Denim laughed and Lizzy faked rolled her eyes. "Let's be destiny child but the old one when it was four of them." I smiled hoping for success. "I'm Beyonce!" Everyone yelled. "Never mind." I sat down. "Let's just do our own thing because this is not working." Macy said. "I know DC universe." I smiled. "What the hell?" Macy asked. "I'm picking Cat Women." I smiled. "Storm." Lizzy yelled. "Wonder woman." Denim said. "I'll find out." Macy said being shady as hell. I didn't care. I already had my outfit and I went and picked it out. "Who doing our make up?" Lizzy asked. "Ima ask my mom." I smiled. "So we lit." We all brought our outfit and then left the store. We went to McDonalds to go eat. I wasn't really hungry. But Durk wanted some food so I brought him a number 3. Then we left. "Come on Deja we out." Lizzy pulled me away and I start laughing. "Why you being like that to the girls?" I asked when we separated from them. "Because they sneaky and I'm not sure if it was Macy in Rondo inbox so I don't wanna really spaz on her but its bound to happen." She rolled her eyes. "What you said to Rondo?" I asked. "What you think?" She asked. "You broke up with him?" I asked. "Yeah. Like you trying to talk to my friend. You bugging. "So let's go to my house instead of the neighborhood. I don't want ya arguing and fighting." I said flagging down a cab. "I guess." We sat in the car and he was playing music. I told the driver my address and we drove off. "Damn I forgot Durk wanted this food." I said. "So give it to him." She said. "Nah it's a dub. He still don't want me to go to the party but I'm going tonight." I smiled. "Facts. He gonna bug out when he see ya outfit." Lizzy said. And I start laughing. "I don't care." I shrugged and and she start laughing. Then Durk texted Me.

"Dejaaaaaaa!" My cousin Monae yelled. I zoomed to the front of the house and she had her bags. "Cousinn!" We yelled and jumped on each other. "Oh my Gosh how you been? How's life? How's everything?" She asked. "Its good." I smiled. "That's good. I missed you so much." She squealed as we walked to the back into my room. "Hey Lizzy." Monae said mad happy. "Hi cousinnnn." Lizzy said being a bird. "First of all y'all is a little too old to be going trick or treating." Monae laughed. "Monae I know you going Trick Or Treating. Stop lying." I said and She start laughing. "Duhhhh." She laughed. "But nah we going to a Halloween party tonight." I said. "I bought my costume too. We was gonna do something for Halloween." She smiled. "Its dead about to be lit tonight. I'm getting drunk and then Ima turn upppp." Lizzy said dancing. "You better not start with Rondo cause I don't wanna be fighting." I said. "You won't unless these bitches act stupid and play my man too close." She said. "Ya ex." I said bothering her. "Thank you best friend for reminding me." She hugged me. "Cut it out you know what's sup with Rondo. He gonna see you and be on you." I said as I grabbed my phone. Kevin was calling.

"Hello?" I answered. "Yo me and Tania is done! She just violated talking about my mother and father. I don't want you to beat her up but Fuck that bitch! I don't care about none of that! That bit h almost got beat the Fuck up!" Kevin yelled and I can tell he was crying. "You want me to come to ya house?" I asked. "No, I'm not home I'm outside in front of the hospital where my parents both lost their lives." He cried and I felt so sorry for him. "Kevin I'm on my way. Stay right there and don't do nothing crazy." I said scared he wasnt going to listen. "Okay." He said and we hung up. I put my jacket back on. "Where you going?" Monae asked. "To meet up with Kevin." I said and she start blushing and stuff. "He got cute from when he was younger." She said smiling. "Byeeeee." I walked out the house and speed walk to the hospital. He was sitting on the curb staring at the window where they both was admitted and basically waiting to die. "Kevin." I hugged him mad tight. "I feel like killing her." He broke down and cried I felt like calling Tania and cursing her out but since he told not to I'm not. "Don't worry about what she said best friend." I said comforting him and it made me sad because my mother told me this the same hospital my father died. So this isn't our favorite place to be or near by. "Deja she got mad because I didn't answer my phone twice. Bitch said ima die like my parents. I will kill her. But I just wrote her like I'm done with you." He shrugged wiping his tears. "Right you don't need no whack girl like that." I said still hugging him. "I just wish one of my parents could be alive. I been through some shit after the death if both of them. I was only six when both of my parents died in the same year." He said grabbing his head. "Don't think about it Kevin. Think about the good after." I said now tearing with him. "You and ya family. I said and he looked behind himself and start laughing and he sat up. "You a clown." He stood up and helped me up. "What you was doing though?" He asked. "Talking with Lizzy and Monae." He said and we walked and talked to the bus. "You going to that Halloween party tonight?" Kevin asked putting his metro in the bus. "Yeah and ima look dumb cute. We about to start getting ready." I said excited. "What you gonna be?" He asked. "Cat women." I smiled. "Durk gonna be bat man?" He asked. And we both start laughing. "No." I said finally catching my breath. "I thought you have to dress up." He said. "You do. He said him and Dontay gonna be Craig and Smokey, from Friday." I said and we start laughing again. "They dress up you better take a picture of them. I'm gonna be weak." Kevin said laughing mad loud. "Shhh." I said covering his mouth looking around on the bus. "Nah that's gonna be funny. I should go too." He said. "Please?" I asked. "I got a costume in my house so ima come with Durk and them but if they not going ima pull up in a cab." He said. "So go home and get ready." I said. "You right." He laughed a and stood up to get off the next stop. "See you later best friend. You better come." I said. "I am." He said shutting me up and getting off the bus and Rondo, Rex, and Randy got in the back of the bus. "Oh wussup Deja?" Rondo came and sat next to me. "Wussup shit. Why you was in somebody inbox? Like don't do that to my best friend you crazy?" I asked. "On my moms she lying Macy wrote me like wussup with the weed? And I wrote back like ask Beth, and she never responded. I won't go to her friends. They would snitch." He laughed giving his friends dap. "Not say I would but you know what I'm saying. Tell her stop playing with me and you better tell her if she act up in that party she gonna get it." He said. "Byeee." I laughed. "Nah we just gonna be acting single in there." He shrugged and we gonna jump you." I said pushing him. "Ima tell Durk." He said. "Okay. And?" I said and we start laughing. "Later knuckle head." I hugged him and got off the bus to go and get ready.
DURK P.O.V
"Yo Dthang you really dressing up?" I asked. "You have to." He said as he flipped his pants legs up like smokey. "You a goofy." Rondo came in the house saying and we start laughing. "When ya can't get in the party don't say nothing." He said rolling a bamboo blunt to put on top of his ear. "Yo you going hard. Goofy ass." Rex said. "Fuck up." Dthang said. We all laughed again and Ikey came in the house with the scream costume on and we start dying laughing. "Yeahhhhh Ikey." We hyped him. "I know I look good." He said and we was teary eyes from laughing. After getting ourselves together Lil Varney gonna come in the house like Tupac. We fell into laughter again. "Durk you gonna be Craig so what's funny?" Varney asked. "Because its gonna be regular clothes. And Twin gonna be DBO." I said. "Facts." He said rolling up the dope. Then Deja called me. "Yo?" I answered. "Hi babe I miss you today." She said. "I texted you twice and called you twice you sure enough missed me." I said sarcastically. "You still going to the party?" She asked. "Yeah I'm about to get dress." I said. "Okay, hurry up because Kevin going with y'all." She said. "Yeah I know. He should be coming now." I said. "Okay. Talk to you later." She said rushing off the phone. "Send me a picture of you in ya costume." I said. "No I want it to be a surprise." She said. "If it look crazy you leaving the party." I said. "Shut up." She laughed but I was dead serious. "Aight let me get dress and then ima head over to the party." I said. "Okay." And we hung up. I jumped in the shower and got dress. I looked regular. "Come on, we out." Lil Varney said. "Wait Kevin coming with us." I said. "Oh aight, go see if that nigga ready." Dthang said and Bandz ran up there and here they go. Nigga was Batman and we laughed at his goofy ass too. "You over did it." iinky said and we laughed again. "You Rick Ross?" Kevin asked iinky and we was weak because of iinky face. He couldn't even answer cause we laughed so hard. We got in three cabs to the party. "Yo shawty look nice." Dthang said and we all looked. It was some girl in a doctor costume. "I'm sick baby come take care of me!" Rex yelled out the car and she looked smiling. "Okay Rex." We hyped him. We all got in the party and it was packed. But I spotted Beth she had on a Wonder Woman costume. "Rondo." I tapped him and he was on her. I separated from them and start dancing with every bitch. It didn't matter. "Wussup Durk?" Destiny said smiling. "Wassup? I haven't seen you in a minute." I hugged her again. "Yeah I know its been a while but im not with that boy no more who jumped you and shit. I dubbed him. Like hell no. You did what? And I was about to call the cops but you told me not to." She said. "He better hope the cops catch them before I do again and again. I'm killing shit." I said. "Shut up." She turned around and start dancing on me and I was dancing back getting crazy. Then I walked around and danced with everybody. This party was jumping. It was so many nice looking girls in this party but since I know Deja here I'm not gonna even play myself. We was getting lit too. Smoking and drinking through out the party.
I was drunk by now and the party been going on for two hours now and I probably danced with everybody besides my baby. And here she go about to walk past me. "Damn Cat Woman." I said. And she turn around mad fast. I was in the cut though and she spotted me. "Baby." She jumped on me and I picked her up and we start kissing. "You look good." I said in between kisses. "You think so?" She held my hand and we walked out the party. "Yes." I smiled and bit my lip. "Stop it." She start laughing. "You coming to my house tonight?" I asked. "No I'm here with my cousin." She said. "Damn." I mumbled looking her up and down. "You look fire. Best costume hands down." I said. "Don't gasp me." I laughed. "Nah for real." I said. "And Kevin batman." She said. "Yeah what's all that about?" I asked. "That's my best friend. Since my boyfriend pride too high he did it for me." She leaned on me. "Shut up." I said and we kissed again. "Let's go back in the party and turn up." She said as we walked in hand and hand and she start whining all up on me. We about to dip fuck all that cousin shit. I thought to myself as she danced.
