i told dan about my mum and for him to not tell anyone. i didn't want to risk being taken away from the home i've lived in for my entire life. from my brother. from my mum regardless of how broken she has become.
some people or things that are broken can be put back together, but it's possible for her to be past the point of no return. dad is to blame for this. he could see mum starting to break after she discovered his unhappiness. all he did was leave. he left his children with a broken woman.
