Chapter 24- .. Sergio meets Dad

"We think we know where you Dad, Marco Evans was at" I hung up, ran downstairs and sent my mom a quick text saying I was out

That's when I realized I was still in my pajama's which consisted of sweat pants and a tank top, I shrugged  

~.Police Station.~

"You must be Briana, is that correct?" The lady at the desk asked me, I nodded and she gave me a file with a pass

I muttered a thanks and went to the officer's

..

"Briana, nice to see you, have you heard anything from your father?" He asked looking up from the computer putting on his glasses I shook my head

"Well, we have." My eyes went as wide as saucers

"We caught a glimpse of him in the park a few times meeting different men, we had camera located on the top of a pole, and we would like to see if you recognize anybody, and keep in mind this was just Friday night" I nodded

The video played and I stared at the video, nobody I noticed until I saw HIM

Sergio

And he was wearing the same clothes he was from the party

..

The video ended and I told nothing to the Officer because I wouldn't want him to interrogate Sergio, and I really don't know why

Since, I was so confused I didn't tell my mom nothing once I walked through the door and made up a lame excuse

~. Next Morning.~

I was on my way to school and got a text

From Unknown

The only reason I did what I did, was because I was upset, and still am, I am sorry, and I know you probably ever forgive me, and I wouldn't if I was you, but I would ask your friend "Sergio" what we talked about, it was a pretty interesting talk, Elian isn't who you think he is -Your Dad/ Marco

I shut off my phone and acted like everything was alright

But I had a plan, and I hoped it would work

"You want us to WHAT?!?" Stephanie asked

"You heard, so I will pick you up in mom's car at about 5:30 and you know the rest" She groaned

"Fine! But Alex has to come!" I sighed and said okay

First thing I had to do, get Sergio on my side and forgive him but not get attached

~P.E~

"Um, Sergio, Can I walk to you?" I asked and many people looked shocked Sergio made a face with a smile and nodded

"So, over Elian now?"

"Nope, happier than ever, but listen we have to talk"

"Aren't we already talking?" he said with a chuckle

I smiled "kind of, but I mean not here, can we meet somewhere afterschool?" He nodded, and gave me a awkward hug after

We went back to our normal lives for today, and the weird thing was Sergio was a bit different

I saw him pushing a kid in a closet, then getting a slap on the back as acknowledgement from one of his friends, not a nice sight when he left, I helped him out

~Flashback, a few minutes ago~ 

I was on my way to my locker and saw Sergio pushing a kid in a closet, then getting a slap on the back as acknowledgement from one of his friends, not a nice sight when he left, I helped him out

"Hey, whats your name?"

"David"

"Okay, David how long have they been doing this, well bullying you?" I asked

"Since Freshman year, but its okay its my last year here" He said and I saw his eyes getting watery

"Who exactly?"

"Sergio mostly, the rest made him, and it stopped for about a month, but he got back to it today" A month, when we were friends again he didn't do anything

"im so sorry, I can tell him to stop I promise he wont do-" He cut me off by yelling a 'no'

"I mean please don't, if he finds out someone knows he could do worst and he will make me a bigger loser than I already am, nobody wants to be a friend with someone who gets bullied daily, and im hideous" He said letting the tears out

"Well, this girl" I said pointing to myself "Wants to be your friend, no matter if you get bullied or not, and your not hideous your just insecure, and everyone is at one point if you don't like you then change but just know you don't need to change cause I will be here for you whenever" I gave him my number, smiled and left

~Flashback over~

I made a new friend

It was 5 minutes till' my last class was over, and then off to meet Sergio at a café around town

"So, I saw what you did today" He looked confused so I continued while he sipped his coffee "You bullied David" He choked on his coffee

"how did you- when?"

"Well, I was on my way to get my books, and saw you with your buddies, and its sad how you have been doing it for about 4 years, but he made a new friend" I said with a smirk

"Who?"

"Me, and I wanted to tell you to not bother him no more because you don't know what he is really like, he is scared of you, the reason he has no friends is because of you, but that's not the reason I told you to come"

"Always so friendly, and why am I here then?"

"My dad, he umm... contacted me well texted me but he said you guys talked" He stiffened "Who is really Elian then?"

"I don't think I can awnser that and certainly not right now, I got to go" With that he left and I did after a minute of boredom

What seemed like a hour talk was really 15 minutes and what seemed like a 15 minute walk was actually a one hour walk

It was 4:45 and I wasn't picking up Stephanie till' 5:30 so I decided to do a bit of homework since I was bored

5 minutes till 5:30 and I headed out

I opened the car door, then closed it, put my key in it, and was on my way out even though we live so close the police station is in the other town

"Are you guys ready?" I asked they both nodded and the 3 of us were about to start the mission
