Chapter 22- The Party; Part 1

Two days have passed, and it's now Friday the day of the party, everyone, well mostly everyone, was waiting for.

Like usual I did my regular routine, my mom has been a bit too quiet for my liking, I asked her if I can go to a party and she said I could go, which was pretty.. weird

I usually take the bus to school and from school but since Sergio is protective and all he says I have to ride with him for now or Alex, or Stephanie, basically I can't ride the bus, but I was happy he told me that because I really didn't like to take it.

"You're up early," said my mom.

"Yup, Sergio is going to take me today" I replied

I sat down, ate my breakfast, brushed my teeth, and headed out and that's when I heard the car honk, perfect timing I thought as I made my way downstairs

"You ready?" he asked

"Yupp, I was born ready" He rolled his eyes.

~~~School~~~

"Bye see you at P.E." He said and kissed my forehead, and I blushed as usual.

"Okay, so you will be partnered up for this assignment"

*Bell rings for 3 rd period*

"WAIT! who you will be partners with is on the board in the back, so check and you will be their partner until we are done with this assignment, which requires a lot of afterschool work by the way and You are free to go" I went to check on who my partner was and I almost ALMOST screamed.

Ellian & Briana

"I guess we are partners" Said Ellian with a smug look on his face I nodded and left the class

Lunch came by and Sergio let me skip out and by letting me I mean me Stephanie, and Alex

"So what has you like that?" Alex asked

"Just, stuff.," I mumbled stabbing my salad with my fork

"Yeah, cause trying to kill your salad means you're in such a jolly mood," Said Stephanie and rolled her eyes

"It's just that, for History, we have to have partners and Mrs. M assigned them and I got Elian, imagine how Sergio is going to react especially because the assignment consists of working outside of school," I said while putting my hands in my face

~Afterschool~

My classes had passed by really quick, and I was already out I was just waiting for the rest of our 'crew' -Stephanie, Alex, and Sergio-

Kay, love you too <3 see you later 

"Um, Sergio, cant come so it's just going to be us up until the party," I said looking up from my phone

They nodded and we walked home, and Alex went his separate way.

"Okay, do you have a dress that I can wear for tonight?" asked Stephanie since we were going to change at my house and get ready there since my mom was cool with us going to the party

At the end, we were going to leave around 8ish and Alex was going to pick us up since Sergio was also getting ready considering he had detention till' past 5

Stephanie wore a black dress with yellow designs all over the dress, black pumps, a black purse, and the smallest waves in her hair.

I had a whitish cream color of the dress with black lines swirled in glitter over the dress as well as black pumps with my hair to the side in small waves

"MOM! We are leaving!!" I yelled hoping she heard me from upstairs I heard and 'okay' so I shrugged and left the house with Fany and went into Alex's car

The ride to the party was silent, not the awkward kind but the good kind.

It took no more than 15 minutes to get there.

"I'm going to go and dance, do you guys want to come with or ?" Stephanie asked us

I shook my head and muttered a no thanks.

"Sure," Alex said and I  winked at Stephanie.

If I'm not wrong, my matchmaking skills are telling me that my best friend likes my other best friend, I guess I will have to ask her as soon as possible

As I looked for Sergio, I saw the person that I did not expect to be here, Ellian, of course

"Hey, were you looking for your boyfriend?" He asked

"Yeah, have you seen him?" I asked tip-toeing since I was fairly short

"Yup, I saw him in Katie's room like 2 minutes ago," He said and left I said thanks but It was too late, he was gone

I walked upstairs and looked for what seemed like Katie's room, and found it hard since there was like 6 doors

I opened 5, let's just hope this is the right door.

I opened the door and tears filled my vision a group of people sitting on the floor in a circle, watching Sergio and Katie

I let out a sob and everyone turned my way but it was too late, I was gone by then.
