My bags were already packed and ready for departure. Luciana had been scarce the entire morning. She would even at time deliberately avoid me if we walked the same hall. Here I thought we were all on good terms again. Even if she hasn't declared me her girlfriend yet.

Did I even want that?

Cassidy and Shaé had stuck around me the entire time I was packing and gathering my things. Although I didn't come here with much, I left with three bags full of things. Luciana had arranged her private jet for me which will take me to Epgypt, my home, at one. A part of me wanted to stay, but another part of me knew I never could. I wasn't like them, I was human. And humans could be broken.

When the time finally came to go, I did. The wind had picked up drastically, sweeping my light pink dress from side to side. Xavier and Adrian was behind me, carrying all my bags. Shaé walked next to me and Cassidy rolled close to me as well, each clutching one of my hands. Sadness was clear in the atmosphere, but we let it be.

Right before I left, Luciana came and said goodbye, well, also to fully inform me of my task. I was also expected to write to them and send the letters via another supernatural of some kind as calling could be over heard. It wasn't a very touching goodbye with minimal emotion on her side, but it would suffice. Little did she know this may have been the last time she would see me.

The plane stood ready and waiting as we came closer to the run way. The pilot waited at the stairs to the plane with his crew behind him. His smile was broad, his skin leathery, how hair black with grey peppered in it, but it was his eyes that told me that I had nothing to fear. My little aunterag stopped just a few meters shy of the plane.

Some of the crew came down and took all my luggage into the plane. I stepped back a bit and turned to face them all. Another swell of tears clung to my eye sockets. "I guess this is goodbye then..." I whispered softly. Shaé looked at me, her grey eyes peering deep into my soul. She walked over and kissed my lips gently. "Goodbye, little human. May our paths cross again." she murmured into my ear and walked off to the house. Xavier and Adrian greeted me next, both with loving hugs and words of encouragement.

Cassidy came last. "Well here we are, little Faerie. The end of our journey lies in our grasp." I said and crouched, very unladylike, in front of her. She took my hands in hers, her skin as soft as ever. "Where will you go when your father is put away? What will become of you?" she enquired, her eyes betraying her sense of panic for my part. "I will do what I love most. I will go travel the world. See it from a totally different perspective now, thanks to all of you." I answered and stared off into the distance. "Why not stay?" she whispered back at me. "You and I both know that I do not belong here. I am human. And you all are immortal. Humans break. You don't." I breathed out. Cassidy sighed.

"We all break... Just look at me." she whispered again. "I will be extra careful then. But for now, I need to go. Take care of my Luna..." I mouthed and stepped back. "You'll always be the first woman I loved." I added and started my ascent to the plane. With each step my feet grew heavier and heavier. A weariness passed over me but before I could cling to it and stay, the door to the plane closed.

And so did my life here in South Africa.

We weren't in the air for long when I heard a roar from behind the plane. When I looked out the window, a black scaly beautiful dragon clapped it's long wings beside me. The sun cascaded over its scales, making it glow a deep red. My heart melted at the sight. But her eyes held me in place. Those one of a kind dragon eyes that pierced your soul by just glancing at them.

The eyes I grew to love more than any other eyes I had ever seen before. Eyes I won't ever see again.

'Goodbye my Luna.'
