Delivery Day 9 months later. (Sorry)
I was on the hospital bed. It was July 18th and I was getting ready to bring triplets into the world I think.
One boy and two girls.
Damien has had one hell of a nine months.
Like I said at the beginning he has whats called a sympathy pregnancy.
Where the man gets most of the symptoms.
I wouldn't know if my feet were swollen because as soon as I utter my feet hurt. Damien carried me everywhere.
We've moved since our first home in St Louis. Its now a 3 bedroom three bath. The triplets room is slightly bigger than ours and has a ensuite.
The other bedrooms don't.
A female nurse walked in. Her hair long and dark and green eyes blazing.
" How are you Mrs. Sander?"" Zander. And I'm good."
" Is your baby daddy present? "
I rolled my eyes and pointed to the half sleep Damien.
His bright blue eyes barely covered by his eyelids.
" Is that really the baby daddy?" Her smirk and eye roll messed with my nerves something fierce.
" Are those your real breast?" I snapped back. She rolled her eyes and wrote something down on the paper.
" The doctor will be in, in one moment. " she shot a now awake Damien a wink.
" I know the babies aren't yours. Its nice to see real men stepping up to the plate. " I shrieked with offense and threw the nearest thing I had at her.
The remote. I threw the remote.
It hit her in the face as she shriek.
Damien laughed as she shuffled out.
I giggled and laid back.
The doctor was still looking at the door as he walked in.
You could clearly hear someone crying like a baby.
Haha you see what I did there.
But I couldn't hide the fact that this was new to me.
To say I was nervous was an understatement.
I was just hoping that it would be quick and easy.
But hey everything you wish for don't come easy.
Damien
I held my babies hand as they opened up her legs.
I won't lie I was jealous. They had a doctor not that much older than me come in to deliver the babies.
His green eyes got dark as soon as they laid eyes on my wife.
I just pushed that to the side though, this is about my baby and little baby boy.
I couldn't even hear anything it felt like I was there but I wasn't.
I looked at the love of my life as she pushed and huffed.
She looked up at me and smiled.
I smiled back and she began pushing again.
She was in labor for 32 Hours.
Hours.
Not seconds or minutes. Hours.
Stubborn babies.
