North

Opening my eyes, I saw the early sun rising. Blinking repeatedly, I looked to see if my brothers were awake as well.

But their spot was empty.

I rubbed my eyes, wondering if I was just imagining it.

Nope.

I looked around not seeing their horses, either.

"They left me. They - I cannot - actually I can."

~"Head Northeast, be there by midday."~

They weren't how much farther we had. They were instructions.

~"There are trees that arch over a path that lead into the woods. Following the path, - now the path disappears, and its just grass. You could get lost in there, if you don't know where you're going."~

"Which I have no idea." I said to myself, seeing I was the only one here.

Just then something nudged by shoulder.

I quickly turned around see big brown eyes staring back at me, a few white strands of hair as well.

"Sorry, Meríco. I did not see you there." I said petting his nose. "Looks like its just you and me."

(Midday?) I thought.

"Come on boy. We better get moving."

~~~
Two arched trees
Meríco stood in front of the two trees that lead a path.
(Must be the right place.) I thought as I urged Meríco to move forward.
It seemed we followed the path for another hour, till it disappeared. I stopped Meríco just as the path faded.
"Where to now?" I asked myself. "Where do I go? I don't know where I'm going."
(Think Lìvia, think. There's got to be some clue they gave you, on where to go next.)
The wind started to blow.
"The Northeast wind blows."
~The wind blew as we sat around the fire. Causing it to go dim.
"Hey Lìvia?" Elladan whispered.
"Hmm?" I asked starring at the fire.
"You think you can make the fire grow?"
I looked up at my brother. He knows I don't like using it.
"Elladan, are you sure that's a good idea?" Elrohir questioned.
"I believe she can do it."
"Its not about doing it. Its about overdoing it."
"Agreed." I said.
"Ah come now. Just a little."
I looked back at the dying fire, just one thought could make it blow. I watched the fire raise a little, and smiled.
"See nothing to it."
The wind blew again.
"The Northeast wind blows."
I furred m brow. It was not Northeast wind.~
(I have to give them more credit than I really do.)
