Secret affairs

Chapter 22:

When we wake up we talk about what we can do to keep the kids with us. She says, " I don't know what to do about Lucy amd Reese but Dylen isn't going to be hard to protect."

" Why is that?"

" His dad never signed the papers. He wasn't home and hasn't really been home since he was born. You can adopt him and he can be our son."

" Ok I will do anything that I can to protect our kids. All of them are my kids in one way or another."

" I know babe I love you."

" I love you too."

We go while the kids are at school. I sign papers and a judge says that I am now Dylen's mom also.

We go home with our son.

Later on Lucy brings her boyfriend Zack home.

We meet him and he seems like a good kid. Wendy ask what his parents did. Zack says his dad is the chief of police and his mom is a doctor.

Wendy is impressed by that.

They start walking to Lucy's room. Wendy yells, " Keep your door open."

" Yes ma'am." They both say.

The next day Lucy comes home and comes up to me. She says, " Tammy was outside my school today at lunch. When I told her I didn't want to see her she said to bad that she was signing me out of school. We went to the office and I told everyone that she wasn't suppose to take me. Luckily they listened to me."

" Yes you are lucky. I will talk to momma about it when she gets home ok?"

" Ok mommy."

She hugs me. She runs off and plays.

When Wendy got home that night I tell her everything Lucy told me.

She shakes her head and says, " Do you think we should home school them?"

" Reese yes but not Lucy. Reese is younger so he can adjust to it fast. However Lucy won't adjust that easily."

She nods and says, " You make a good point that I agree with. I will go sign him up."

I nod.

We cuddle and I put on a song for us.

I start to sing it,

Wendy says, " Are you trying to say you are leaving?"

" No hun I'm saying that we need pina coladas for each hand to forget our problems."

" Ok that makes since."

I kiss her and she kisses me back. We both say that we love each other at the same time. We both smile.
