"I can't believe I was accepted!" I exclaimed happily as I read the letter that had just arrived from Columbia. "I was accepted, Teddy! I was accepted!" I started doing a happy dance and jumping around the living room.
Teddy grinned and hugged me. "Congratulations, baby girl," he said, smiling. We had been dating for two weeks now, and they had been the happiest weeks of my life.
"Open yours!" I exclaimed. "Come on!"
Teddy bit his bottom lip. "I don't think I was accepted..."
"Open it!" I exclaimed, crossing my arms over my chest and raising my eyebrows. "Don't be a chicken!"
Teddy sighed. "Fine," he said as he opened his letter carefully. He sighed and handed me the letter. "Read it for me, would you?"
I rolled my eyes. "I will, but I still think it'd be a better idea if you saw it by yourself." I turned to see the letter, and my eyes widened. "I can't believe it, Teddy! You were accepted, too!"
Teddy's eyes lit up. "Was I?" he asked, surprised.
"Yeah," I said, smirking. "Are you attending?"
"I don't know, Chris," he said, shrugging. "I think I'd be better off in a community college. I don't really have the money to go all the way to New York."
I patted him gently on the back. "Don't worry about the money. We'll get a job and apply for as much scholarships as we can. Besides, with your grades, you will more than likely get a grant," I assured him. "We'll work something out. Don't you worry."
Teddy smiled. "Thank you, Chris," he said, kissing my forehead gently. "I'm so lucky to have you."
I actually felt very lucky to have Teddy, too. No feeling compared to what that boy made me feel. I seriously could feel my heart melting by just seeing those beautiful eyes of his and holding that gently soft hand of his.
"Teddy," I muttered.
I wanted to tell him that I was falling in love with him, but I bit my bottom lip to keep myself from doing it. I was scared that he would become scared and would not want to be with me anymore.
I did not want to scare him away because I had been suffering so much by not having him, and it would be stupid of me to scare him away now that I finally had the privilege of calling him mine.
"Yes?" he asked.
I simply smiled and squeezed his hand sweetly. "I think you're amazing," I said.
Teddy smiled. "I think you are even more amazing, Chris," he said.

My eyes widened as soon as I saw Teddy's most recent creation. He had joined some wires and formed a very small, yet meaningful question with them.
PROM?
I smiled as I saw it. It was beautiful, and it was a very original way to ask me to prom. I nodded and hugged Teddy tightly, smiling like an idiot and feeling like the luckiest girl alive.
"Of course, Teddy," I muttered on his ear.
"You're awesome, Chris," he said.
I really felt like I could not be any happier if I tried. Being Teddy's girlfriend was amazing. He was very kind, and he treated me like a princess half the time. He liked to tease me the other half of the time, but even being teased by him felt incredibly great. It was as though everything Teddy did or said was special and lovely.
I let go of the hug and sighed. "I can't believe our graduation is in two weeks, " I said.
"Me neither," said Teddy, smiling brightly. "I don't feel ready just yet."
