I woke up to the sound of Brianna's extremely annoying voice as she exclaimed: "Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!"

As if that were not enough, Brianna also jumped on top of me, making me feel nauseated as her feet landed on my stomach. I would have pushed her off me, but I was still very sleepy and had no strength whatsoever.

"Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!" repeated Brianna as I groaned and covered my face with my blanket.

As if sleeping on the floor were not enough, my annoying sister woke me up early in a weekend. I had never been a morning person, while Brianna had always been one.

"Wake up, you slob!" yelled Brianna as she jumped up and down, making me even more annoyed.

She was no longer jumping on me, but it still annoyed the crap out of me to not be able to sleep. Seriously, why would not she allow me to sleep? It was a Sunday morning, and all I wanted to do was sleep till I had the chance to.

"Leave me alone!" I exclaimed as I opened my eyes and frowned at Brianna. I sat up and rubbed my eyes, feeling really angry and disgusted. "Just let me sleep!"

"I'm afraid I can't do that!" she exclaimed, grinning excitedly. I noticed she was wearing her swimsuit, and I finally understood what this was all about.

"Oh, no. I am so not going!" I exclaimed, getting up from the floor and pushing Brianna aside. I made my way to her bed and threw myself at it, letting her know that there was no way I would wake up this early.

"Yes, you are so going!" she exclaimed. "Get off my bed, you lazy slob!"

Brianna pushed me, making my weak self to fall on the floor. I landed on my back, which caused me to be in a lot of pain, but my mean sister did not seem to care. She only smiled in satisfaction as I stood up, rubbing my back.

I frowned at her, but she did not even care. She simply crossed her arms over her chest and motioned for me to go downstairs. When I shook my head, she frowned and kicked my shin so hard, she made me fall once again.

"Ow!" I exclaimed in pain. "You're an animal! I'm telling Mom!"

"I don't care," she said. "Mom gave me permission to wake you up. She told me to do whatever it took."

I frowned. "Did she really tell you that?" I rubbed my shin, and Brianna extended her hand to help me get to my feet. I took it and stood up.

"No," she admitted with a wicked grin on her face. "But you got to admit it was fun."

"It wasn't," I said honestly. No one in his or her right mind would like to be woken up this way.

"Don't be such a baby," Brianna said, waving her hand dismissively. "Now, get ready. The pool's waiting for us!"

"Whose idea was it?" I asked, sighing.

"Theo's," she said, smiling. "He asked Mom if she knew a pool nearby because he likes to swim, and Mom suggested that we all went with him. She said we needed some fresh air."

I crossed my arms over my chest. Of course it was Theodore's idea. That guy always wanted to do crazy stuff. Only the day before, he had suggested we took a picnic at an abandoned street. It was not that bad, but I did not like to go out that much.

I was fond of staying home and watching T.V. or reading books.

The outside world did not really like me, and I did not really like the outside world. It was a mutual agreement between us to stay as apart as we could from one another, but Theodore was making me break that agreement with his crazy, random ideas.
