It All Started With A Lie, A Car Crash And The Trial

Chapter 1- Can I Speak With You?

"I like you, Satsuki, will you go out with me please?" I stopped dead in my tracks. I already knew that Aomine have always loved Satsuki and yet, why does my chest feels so tight?

~Flashback~

"I'm going to buy drinks, do any of you want some?"I asked Momoi and Aomine. "Then I shall have tea please thanks!" Momoi chirped. "Aomine-kun, do you want some?" I asked again. He ignored me, as usual. "Well then, I'm off!" Aomine, Momoi and I were at the rooftop of our school's building. Today was the last day of school and marks the last day of being third years in Teiko Middle School.I let out an inaudible sigh as I closed the door behind me, leaving Momoi and Aomine who was being scolded by the former.

Momoi, Daik- I meant Aomine and I have been best of friends since we were 5. We met each other in Elementary School. Momoi is a wonderful girl with an enthusiastic personality and a very pretty face. I am a girl who is very timid, quiet and well...... naïve, innocent, a klutz and very dense. Aomine is the opposite of me and is just like Momoi.

At this point of time, I fought hard to keep the tears in. "Come on (Y/N)! Get a grip of yourself!" I wondered what Momoi would say next but I know that it's wrong eavesdropping on other's conversation. I had a mental battle. As curiosity got the best of me, I leaned against the door and pressed my ears against it.

"Etto ......ano Dai-chan? Gomen, but I only see you as my brother, nothing more than that. I'm sorry."

As Aomine was about to reply, the door gave way to my weight and I stumbled into the rooftop. "AHHHHH!"

This is so awkwardddddddd. I quickly got up and dusted myself. "Daijoubu?" Momoi asked with concerned. "Oh......hahaha I was clumsy and so I landed on the floor this way ahahaha. I'm fine thanks."I turned and face her with a smile on my face. "Why are you always so clumsy?" Aomine sighed, his voice slightly irritated.

Weeks had passed since that confession and none of them knew that I have known what had happened between them. Today was the last few weeks of school holidays. I had planned to confess to Aomine. "Hello? Is this Aomine-kun? Can I speak with you personally please, face-to-face?"
