Lucy left her aprtment and started for the guild.

She had to talk to Natsu about the event that took place last night. She had to know how he felt.

Lucy was nervous. She didn't know what she was going to say. She's never been in this situation before. And with Natsu?

As she was walking in the direction of her guild, the two men in the boat past by, "Hi, Lucy!"

"Huh?" She almost didn't here them because she was thinking so hard about what she was going to say to Natsu. "Oh, hi!" She yelled back to them when she realized who it was.

Lucy stood there at the steps of the guild, staring at the two large doors in front of her.

She still didn't know what she was going to say. How do you even talk about things like this? More importantly, what happens afterwards?

Lucy closed her eyes, took a deep breath and opened the guild doors. The guild was as roudy as ever. Cana drinking a barrel of alcohol, Erza eating strawberry cake, guilmates mingling or yelling, and Natsu and Gray arguing.

Natsu. How? How was she going to just sit down with him and say, 'oh yeah, Natsu, so we totally got into it last night didn't we?' Yeah... No. Not gonna happen. Maybe she should just, talk. Maybe she should just mention last night and see where it goes from there?

Lucy sighed and then walked in Natsu and Grays direction.

"YOU BETTER SHUT UP, FLAMEBRAIN!"

"BITE ME, STRIPPER!"

"HOT HEAD!"

"ICE PRINCESS!"

"ASH FOR BRAINS!"

"FROST BITE!"

She could hear their bickering and bashing heads as she approached them.

"Natsu." Lucy said before they could throw anymore punches. Natsu and Gray looked at Lucy curiously, "Can I talk to you?"

Natsu and Gray both looked at each other confused, "Sure." He finally replied.

Lucy grabbed Natsu by the wrist and gently pulled him to an unoccupied corner of the guild.

"Listen," Lucy started to say, "About last night-" She tried to finish but was then cut off.

"Ohh!" Natsu said laughing. "Cana's birthday! Y'know, I don't remember anything after that drinking contest at the end of the night." Natsu continued, chuckling. "And I still have a headache." He finished puting his hand to his head and rubbing his temple.

Those words made Lucy's stomach twist so uncomfortably, she thought she was going to be sick.

'He doesn't remember?' Lucy thought broken heartedly.

Natsu sighed then asked, "What about last night? Did something happen?"

Lucy wanted to scream at him. She wanted to tell him off, curse him out for being such an idiot.

But she didn't.

"U-uh, no. No, nothing happened. I just..." Lucy trailed off. "I just wanted to know if you had a good time." She finished.

"Well, yeah, I did." Natsu said with confusion written on his face.

"U-um, I have to go!" Lucy said bolting toward the guild doors.

"Luce, wait!" Natsu called to her. He just stood there completely confused about her behavior.

"Natsu, whats wrong with Lu-chan?" Levy questioned while she walked up to Natsu.

"I don't know." He replied. "She just asked if I had a good time last night and then stormed out."

"That's weird." Levy stated.

"Maybe I should go talk to her." Natsu said. "Ask her what's wrong."He was about to leave when Levy grabbed his arm.

"I don't think you should." Levy said. "At least, not right now. If something's on her mind, she should have some alone time, to sort it out."

Natsu just stared at her. Something was bothering Lucy, he knew it, and he wanted to help her.

"Okay." Natsu said finally. "I guess."

Lucy couldn't stop running. She had to get to her apartment as fast as she could.

She felt so stupid. She felt like last night should have never happened.

Her legs burned the faster she ran. She couldn't stay there any longer. She had to get away. To clear head.

When she finally made it to her home, she charged up the stairs, entered her apartment, and slammed the door. Lucy put her back against the door and slid to the ground.

She couldn't believe it. Natsu didn't remember what happened.

Lucy really felt sick. Her head hurt and she felt like she was going to throw up. How could he have her do something like that, only to forget about it the next day.

Lucy was angry. She wanted to nock everything off of their shelves and scream to the world.

But at the same time she wanted to break down. She wanted to just fall on her knees and cry. She wanted all her tears to fall until they could fall no more.

But she wouldn't. She won't. She wont waste her tears on something that could never be true.

She was strong, she wont break down over a broken heart. She wont.
