Week Later
Ruby POV
i was in my room when I heard my brother Jamie making a lot of noises in his room. i got up and walked down the hall to his room. saw through the crack of his door softly gasps as i saw him and his friend counting a whole bunch of money on his bed.
"Jamie." i said as i walked in his room.
they gasps and cover the money with the blanket
"get out!" he yell
"no, where you get that?" i ask
"tell me or I'm telling grandma." i loudly said
he came up to me, grab my arm as he pulled me inside the room and close the door.
he looked at me and begin telling me they robbed it from a dealer name Ghost from Azcuar. my eyes widen as i heard him say that name.
"are YOU outta yo damn mind you trying to get all of us killed?" i yell getting angry and pissed at him
"they ain't gonna do nothing, they too busy looking for the dealer not us...and too word on the street Ghost's dead." Jamie said
i shook my head as i sigh deeply looked at him
"why...why would you do something like this?" i ask
"payback for Kayo, they got him bad messed him up." he ans
"so you was willing to get all of us killed for him...just because they looking for the dealer what makes you think he ain't gonna tell on you and nobody that damn loyal when their life is on the line." i said
"quit stressing, dead man can't talk and beside the guy she was with had set this whole thing up, we're doing our part staying low and he's doing his, so we're good." he said
he went to his bed, grabbed a stack of money walked up to me and held it out
"here just relax treat yo self out somewhere with yo friends." Jamie said
i stared at the stack and shook my head no as i pushed it away
"no, i don't want it, you better pray and hope you two won't get caught."
i turned to opened the door, than stopped looked at him right into his eyes
"i swear nothing better happened to gran or me...i swear Jamie." i said than i turn opened the door and left out of his room.
"haha, was we supposed to be scared by that?" his friend chuckled softly
"right haha." Jamie smirk
they went back to counting the money, he pause thought for a moment shook his head and cont counting. pushing the thought to the back of his mind.
i went back to my room, closed my door and begin pacing back and forth just couldn't believe that it was my brother and his friends who attacked Tru.
"what am i gonna do, if i tell her there's a good chance she'll kill him, ahhh i don't want to lose my brother but i swear he does stupid shit without thinking it through." i thought to myself
"but i love Tru so much and God forbids if anything happens to Grandma...she's the only one i have left i have to tell Tru, it's better she hears it from me than from someone else's mouth."
i grabbed my cell and called her up
*ring ring*
"hey, bae."
"heyy baby, you busy?"
"nah, just being watch like an hawk by ma."
"i heard that." i heard ma in the background i chuckle softly
"mind if i stopped by?"
"sure, you alright?"
"sorta, i'll be there in 20 minutes."
"alright, see you than bae."
i hung up, grabbed my bag and house keys and left on out the house. went to the bus stop hopped the bus and made my way to ma's house.
Tru POV
30 minutes later
*doorbell ring*
i got up saw it was Ruby, i opened the door and smiled. she came inside i closed and locked the door. we hugged each other, i felt her trembling. i looked at her
"what's wrong, bae?" i ask
she took a deep breath looked at me into my eyes.
"we should sit, there's something i need to tell you." she ans.
we walked to the living room sat down on the couch. i stared at her.
"what is it?" i ask saw how she was getting nervous playing with her hands a bit.
she looked at me.
*doorbell ring*
"I"ll get it." Ma said, as she walked to the door.
i looked back at Ruby.
"what i'm about to tell you, i had nothing to do with it i just found out." she said
"find out about what, bae you're scaring me." i said
she exhale deeply, than she looked up and stared at something. i turned my head my eyes widen as i softly gasps.
"you really do live up to your name, Ghost."
there stood my Emilio Estes, my grandfather the God boss of the game. the original King of Azcuar. i stood up as he walked on over to the living room. i was breathing a little heavy. i looked at him and bow my head and looked at him
"hello grandfather." i said being formal.
he stood there staring at me, saw his eyes were getting a little watery, than he just hugged me, held me tight in his arms.
"thought I lost you." he said
i close my eyes, and held him
"when you didn't oovoo me, for two weeks i got worried." he said
i totally forgotten about him, once a week i would oovoo him, and we will talk for like two hours. he flew all the way up from his home in Rio, Brazil.
he looked at me checking me out saw the scar on the side of my eye.
"wanna tell me why you have your mother going crazy looking for you?" grandfather ask
i sigh deeply
