Five Months later
Things been pretty good, Ruby and I are doing great. The crew loves her, Liyah and Ruby became close ass friends. I've been getting more away from my work that i'm supposed to be doing with the cartel. been focusing on myself and my life. Been doing a lot of deep heavy thinking.
My nightmares comes and go.
Was chilling with Ruby and the crew when my cell went off. i looked at it saw it was my mother. i sigh as i pressed the ignore button. then she begin blowing me up. i sigh deeply.
"hold on yall." i said
i moved away from them and answer the call
"what?" i ans
"where the hell are you?" mother loudly command
"what do you want?" i ask
"bring yo ass to the spot." she demand
"I'm busy." i said
"i don't give a fuck, bring yo ass." she said i sigh deeply
"you hear me!!" she yell, i didn't say anything.
"DO YOU HEA..." i hung up on her.
i shook my head, sigh deeply and put my cell back in my pocket i walked back to the crew.
"you okay, bae?" Ruby ask, as she saw the look on my face.
"I'm okay, gotta head on out, my presence is needed." i ans
she stared into my eyes as i stared back at her
"what's going on, you always leaving but can never tell me where or why you have to leave." she ask
"Ru..." she cut me off
"NO, I'm tired of you hiding things from me." she said, she shook her head and took off walking away from me.
"ruby." i called out, chasing after her.
"Ruby!" i called out again
ran and grab her arm and stopped her
"stop, please." i beg
she sigh as she folded her arms. not looking at me. i sigh deeply
"I am sorry, okay...i know i'm keeping something from you...just give me some time i will tell you it's not easy for me to explain this to you." i plead
i moved and stood right in front of her, staring right into her eyes, i place my hand on the side of her cheek close to her neck
"i promise you, I'm going to tell you...just don't give up on me...on us, please." i said my eyes getting watery. she looked at me saw i was telling her the truth
"i believe you." she said
i moved closer and place my lips on hers, we french kissed for a moment than we hugged. i looked at Nate. he saw the look in my eyes. he nod his head.
i looked at Ruby
"i'll call you later okay." i said, she nod her head.
"i love you." i said, kinda shock myself never really said those words before
"i love you too, Tru." she said we kissed again than i left on out
