After that it was heart to heart time, which involved a lot of tears on everyone's behalf. Except for me of course, because I never cry, or so Noah says, but I did, cry I mean, I let it all out and it felt good.
Mum and Dad were going to get me the best care possible and rehab (Which I will not be going to), they want me to talk to a therapist too which is bad enough!
Turns out we actually own this 'safe' house and are going to be staying put here for a while. I wasn't going to complain, it was a lovely house in a great location in an amazing country. It wasn't home though, not that any of us knew what was home anymore!
We also asked about Parker Johnson and they told us that he was a good family friend and had recently visited them, to inform that we would soon be arriving and all about the memory stick. So we knew where he flew off to, it kind of pissed me off that he knew our parents were alive and well in New Zealand, but that was all in the past now.
The next few days passed and it was strange to have no drama. We were lying in, having home cooked meals, sunbathing on the beach and swimming in the sea and our outdoor pool. It was what we all needed, rest and recuperation after the events we'd all encountered. Even though I'd been at the brunt of most of what has happened, I wouldn't say it was any worse than what the others had been through, because we all cope in different ways and mentally, I'm sure their just as shot as I am!
I'd never seen Mum and Dad so happy though. When we were together for 3 months in America they were happy, but seeing them now, I knew that they had things on their mind! It was the family back together again and you know what. It really did feel good.
It was 11pm; Mum, Dad and Arii were chatting away outside on our decking area under the moonlight. Tayte, Noah and I were led on the beach, no more than 8 steps from the decking area looking up at the stars,
"I think I can get used to this life" Noah said,
"I second that" I answered,
"Third it" Tayte agreed,
"Never in my wildest dreams..."
"Love that song" Noah interrupted, "the Madeline Bailey cover of course"
"You are so gay" I laughed,
"So are you so shut up" he retorted grinning,
"Only for Tayte though" I answered shutting my eyes, I felt a warm body creep closer to mine,
"Love you too" Tayte whispered,
"You two better get together one day" Noah said sighing "Just beautiful"
"Have you spoke to Angelo lately?"
"Hmmm. His Mum's making so much progress already. He was thinking about coming out here, but I told him not to bother. I don't know what's going on with my life"
"We all feel the same way" Tayte replied,
"Are you going back to England to see your Mum Tayte?" I asked,
"She wants me too obviously. She wants us to go away together and have a break, just the two of us. But I've had enough of travelling, I'd much rather stay put somewhere"
"You should just go home and chill for a couple of weeks, do absolutely nothing and then decide what you want to do" I said,
"But I'd prefer to do that with you guys"
"Well at some point I'm going to go back and see Angelo and we'll probably go back to America, Angelo enjoyed what he was doing out there and his sister is thinking of visiting the country so..." Noah said trailing off,
