Chapter 26 - Take Aim

Noah's POV

Every passenger getting on a flight was being checked and doubled checked before they were allowed board and I'm talking all flights. It turns out they knocked the poor guy out, the one who had to read the message over the tannoy otherwise he'd die. We were, a little apprehensive about what we were going to actually do when we were stopped and they realised they'd found, the Keane Joey Linkoln. I for one would not be getting on the plane if Keane was refused board. But thinking about it, they couldn't actually refuse his board, because when the flight landed in London Heathrow and Keane didn't get off the plane, they'd blow it anyway, even if he wasn't on it. It's how I want to know, it must mean there's a leak, a rat on the plane, someone working for Galviao,

"Your brain looks like it's working overtime" Keane said. He had his eyes shut, slumped on the sofa in pain, even though he kept denying it! I was sure there was something else wrong with him too, apart from his leg, ankle, head, bruised ribs and body. I mean the list is endless. Angelo had gone into the toilets with his medical bag and came out 5 minutes after, saying he had to're-bandage' Keane's leg. Total bullshit. "Noah, hello anybody in there?" he was looking at me now,

"Sorry, my heads all over the place"

"I know the feeling"

"I was just thinking that they have to let you on the plane, because if don't you get off it, they're going to blow it up, whether you're on the plane or not"

"That is very true. But it still means we're screwed either way" he answered,

"I'm sure they've rang Heathrow and explained the situation, it's a potential terrorist attack"

"And what can they do? It's a bloody boss of MI6 committing the crime, he has his finger in many pies; MI5, CIA, FBI, the entire police force no doubt. No one can help us Noah, face it, either I'm dead, or we're all dead"

"I know there hasn't been many things to be positive about Keane, but can we please try and be positive about this. It's the final piece of the puzzle, we're almost through it," he took a breath,

"I can do that," Tayte then came over smiling,

"Mum's sorting it out, she and Tammara's Dad are working together"

"That's great news,"

"Told you it'd be okay" Tayte said sitting next to us, he smiled,

"Positive thinking" he answered winking, I laughed,

"Exactly, positive thinking"

Arii's POV

I was finally feeling like everything was going to be okay and it was weird. It was overwhelming. Despite all the shit we'd been through, I knew that we were all going to be fine. The storm was clearing and the sun was finally coming out.

We'd just touched down in London Heathrow Airport, it was around 2am in the morning. The plan was that we were to wait on the plane until everyone had departed and then Parker and Jen were going to collect us and escort out. Straight forward. There was no threat of a sniper anymore, how that happened I don't know. But I was confident that it would be okay, everyone was confident that it was going to be okay, except Keane. I know that he was trying to be positive, the cool demeanour and smile he was giving on the outside was only masking his interior, the scared, anxious, angry and in pain Keane.
