On Period

I groan and hold my stomach while climbing into our large bed. The pain wouldn't leave me alone even when I was laying down pulling the covers over myself.

"Is everything alright?" Shawn mumbled sleepily next to me and putting an arm over my stomach. It sent shivers down my spine but i loved the cool feeling of his hand touching my skin. I had always loved it.

I turned myself on my left side, facing him and smiled at him trying to open his sleepy eyes.

"Yeah, it's just that i'm on my period. No worries needed," I laughed when Shawn scrunched his nose at what I had said. He kept tracing circles with his finger on my back and squeezing slightly in attept of trying to massage.

I winced a couple of times at what Shawn stopped and looked at me worryingly.

"It's okay baby. My back just hurts from the menstruation pain." I try to laugh but it turned to be painful.

"Maybe you are pregnant!" he was shocked and pulled the blanket off of me studying my stomach and caressing it.

"Oh my god! I didn't think of that!" I played along and looked at my belly.

"Wait are you serious!?" Shawn exclaimed, furrowing his eyebrows and looking into my eyes searching for an answer.

"Of course not you dork! How can I be pregnant when there's blood coming out of my vagina," I roll my eyes at him. I could see Shawn's face turning red from embarrasment.

"What a relief," he sighed, "I'm sorry I forgot about that. I'm a man and these things don't happen to me." he grinned at me and continued to tracing circles on my stomach now.

"I forgive you," I placed a soft kiss on his nose.

"I wouldn't mind if you were pregnant thought," I looked at him with a startled look. I didn't knew he would be okay with that since we had been together almost two years now. I examized his features and kept imagining how good father he would be.

"What are you thinking about?" Shawn smiled at me, his hand cupping my cheek and large thumb caressing it.

"I love you," I whisper coming closer to his face, our noses brushing.

I waited for him to say it back but he didn't. He just kept looking at me and gently touching my face.

"Aren't you going to say it back?" I asked starting to worry.

"Of course I am! I was just thinking about you and me for a second... how great of a mother would you make and how.. awesome would our kid be if I raised him or her," I laughed at his self worship. He smirked at me as he continued his sweet talk, "I would be so happy to grew a family with you my love... and glad to tell our grandchildren our love story.. I would love to wake up every morning by your side and hear these beautiful three words coming out of your mouth every day for the rest of our lives, saying them back to you with the same amount of love and care like you do...I will love you forever and will prove it to you every day.. I will never leave by your side and now I will tell you the three words everyone.. especially you.. should hear daily from their loved ones," and before saying these three magical words he placed a gentle kiss on my forehead what made me fell in love with him once again.
