"We are going to be waiting you in the car. Hurry please!"

"Yeah I'm coming!" I called back to my mom and brushed my hair for the last time, quickly checking my appearance in the mirror and correcting my short black skirt.

I grabbed my phone and left the room. We were heading to my parents' friends' house who we hadn't seen in five years. I used to be the families' son's Shawns' friend when we were little but since we moved we grew apart.

I have heard that Shawn was quite successful in the music industry. I was nervous to meet him again. Maybe he didn't remember me anymore.

I was so nervous that my hands had started to sweat on the way to their house. After driving about an hour we reached an huge white house. It was different from the last time I had seen it.

We left the car and before we reached the door I once again corrected my clothes. My mom knocked on the door and Manuel, Shawn's dad, opened the door greeting us and leading us inside.
The house was glorious inside. Nothing but expensive furniture, electronics and decorations. We headed to the dining room and sat behind a big marmor table.

Soon enough Karen, Shawn's mother, came from the kitchen and offered us some snacks. We stayed there for a while, parents chatting and me on my phone.

I heard guitar playing upstairs and focused on the beautiful melodies someone was playing.

"It's Shawn," Manuel pointed out, "he is making new music for his album."

"Oh wow!" I was surprised by how famous he really was.

"We should call him down." Karen said.

"Oh no, there's no need, he is busy right now." I smiled.

"The food is ready any minute anyways!" Karen headed back in the kitchen.

Manuel went upstairs to call Shawn down.

Soon enough a boy wearing ripped jeans and black tight-fitting T-shirt that showed off his enormous muscles and sixpack came down.
His fluffy brown hair fit perfectly, and his chocolate brown eyes looked so humble.
I'm not gonna lie, he looked hot!

He sat by the table and started emptying his plate without even looking at us, the guests. His parents looked at us with a fake smile on their faces and we all started eating too.

"When are you moving in?" Karen asked my mother.

"Wait what mom?!" I was confused.

"Oh I haven't had time to tell you but we are moving in the house next door." Mom nervously explained.

"Why didn't you and dad discuss it with me before you decided. Maybe I don't want to move here!" I raised my voice not noticing everybody's eyes on me.

"Let's talk about this at home." Mom said quietly.

I was mad but I didn't want to embarrass myself more so I stayed silent. I caught Shawn looking at me, a devilish smile on his face.

I avoided getting in conversations for the rest of the night. Shawn had gone out, not even telling his parents where and why. I guess he wasn't the sweet boy I had known anymore.
I went outside to get some fresh air and clear my head. The backyard was quite small compared to the house. In an one corner of the fenced yard was a pool and rest of it was decorated with plants I couldn't recognize and a pine tree.

I sat on a white bench next to the tree. It matched perfectly with the compact but cozy garden. I had been sitting there about an half an hour thinking about the fact that I'll be living in this neighbourhood very soon. I wasn't really keen of that.

Suddenly I noticed someone sneak in the garden from the back door of the garage. I freaked out but stayed silent. Soon enough I recognized the familiar black leather jacket. To be clear Shawn had put it on before leaving the house earlier.

He was carrying a paper bag with a bottle figure showing.

"What's in there?" I asked. Shawn jumped a bit before noticing me.

He smiled and walked over to the pool.

"What do you think?" he placed the bag behind a little bush next to the pool and stood up making his way over to me.

He sat down and put his hand on the bench stand behind my back and moved closer to me.

"None of my business?" I questioned him at what he smiled again and moved even closer. It seems that he loves making other feel uncomfortable around him so he could get the reactions he could laugh at and make other feel more bad. The strategy worked with me.

"That's right," he whispered as soon as he had got as close as possible. I felt his warm breath on my cheek as he spoke. It made shivers down my spine and I kind of felt attracted to him at that very moment but that feeling went right away and replaced with sickness.

"You are so annoying," I said looking straight up, ignoring him.

He laughed and stroked a strand of my hair. I slapped his hand away and sat further from him. That made him laugh more. He got the reaction he had been craving for.

"You are gonna have to stand me every day from the moment you move here," he said with a sarcastic voice before standing up and walking towards the house.

I hid my head in my hands in frustration. I wanted to scream. He was so stubborn. My life is turning into hell.
