Shawn's POV

I pull my plain black suitcase from the baggage carousel and lay it down on the shiny floor. As I pull out the suitcase handle I call the nearest uber to pick me up at the unfamiliar airport.

I put on a pair of sunglasses and a cap to hide myself from possible fans at the airport who may recognize me. I manage to leave without interruption.

The warm sunlight hits my face as I step out. I breath in before heading towards a black car waiting for me. The driver helps me to put my bags into the car and soon we're heading to the hotel.

During the drive I admire the city I had never been to, but had wanted to visit in forever. I had booked a room in the nearest hotel in the part of the city I needed to go. It was quite pricey for two nights, but it had to be done and I didn't feel bad for spending money on that.

The ride wasn't long and I got at the hotel in time. I had planned everything for the day so I wouldn't have time to give a second thought at the situation.

As I got in my room I quickly changed my clothes and rushed to the gym. I had to clear my head and get energy for the upcoming stressful day.

I got many messages from my managers during my gym session asking if I had landed safely or had any problems. It was risky coming here all alone, but I'm trying to keep a low profile.

After refreshing myself with some exercises and running, I jump through a cold shower. Finally I'm good to go. I get nervous as I'm standing in front of a mirror, fully clothed and revising everything I have to do and say in my head when I get there. This is either going to go really bad or good.

I turn down on another quiet street, reading the street name. I had decided to come here by foot because it wasn't a long way from the hotel.

I know I'm close and as I turn on another street, I can see the house from the distance. Google Maps is really useful for situations like this.

I exhale heavily before heading for the house. I see no cars in front of the white wooden house, but I hope someone's still home. I still have tomorrow if no one's here.

I reach the black door, ready to knock. My hand stops inches away from the door as I notice a dark blue car driving in the houses' driveway.

I walk towards the car, seeing a lady in her fourties getting out of the car after parking. She takes two grocery bags from the back.

"Hello, is Y/N home?" I ask nervously stretching out my hand to help her carry a bag.

"She should arrive soon," the woman smiles,"Do I know you?"

"Probably not," I chuckle, scratching the back of my head,"I'm Shawn, me and Y/N used to be friends."

"Oh, you are the boy she used to write to huh?" she asked, showing me the way into the house.

"Yeah.." I mutter entering the house.

Y/N POV

I run the last round faster than the others in rush to get home. The park I was doing my running in was getting more quiet as the people were leaving.

The cloudy sky hinted on the upcoming rain. As I finished I took a moment to slow down my breathing and stretched to relax my muscles.

I started walking towards my house, blasting my favourite songs from the headphones. I had still energy left so I danced to the music on my way home. No one was near to see me so I was safe from embarrassement.
