Shawn's POV

A month has been since I've seen her and today she's coming to the concert, the Madison Square Garden concert.

Tonight's one of the most important nights in my life and what makes it more special is that she'll be here.

As I was pacing the backstage floor, guitar in my hands, ready for the show, Andrew, my manager approached me.

"Shawn, she is here," he smiled at me and pointed towards the door to the backstage dressing rooms.

The dark brown door opened and her gorgeous face appeared from behind it. A large smile grew on her face making my lips form one on my face too.

I gave my guitar to Andrew as he told us to make it quick and ran towards her, picking her up from the ground and spinning her around, holding onto her tighter than ever.

A month felt like an eternity and I needed to touch her, kiss her, feel her body against mine.

She squiled when I made the last spin and put her down gently. Cupping her face I kissed her softly enjoying the moment. After I pulled out I looked into her glowing eyes.

She looked so beautiful and I just stared at her in awe until she started laughing at my reaction.

"Hey," she said softly, rubbing my back,"it's so nice to see you again."

"I missed you so much," I said before hugging her. Andrew was pointing to the stage, hinting for the soon starting concert .

"I think you should go now. Everyone is waiting for you. This concert is so important for you," she pushes me off smiling at me but I saw a glint of sadness in her gorgeous eyes. And that was a rare thing, she was always so happy when we were together and always told me if there was something going on with her and I knew she didn't tell me something.

"Is everything alright?" I asked her, pushing a strain of her hair behind her ear, caressing her cheek.

"Yeah, I'm totally fine. Go enjoy your night."

I knew she was lying. I grabbed her wrists and lowered to look her right in the eyes.

"Tell me, what's wrong?"

She sighed and turned her head away.

"Can we talk about this after the concert?" she begged.

"No baby, if there's anything bothering you, tell me right away," I caressed her arms.

She looked at me, worry on her face. She took a deep breath and started explaining. It was all like in slow motion. It was like I didn't know the meaning of the words she said to me. I didn't want to accept the truth. My hands slowly fell next to me and I stood there staring at the wall behind her when she was trying to get my attention, eyes in tears.

I stepped back, walking towards Geoff who handed me the guitar and I stepped on the stage. The screams of fans were muffled and I only heard her voice saying the same words all over again in my head. There had to be a solution.

I stepped over to the mic, ready to welcome the crowd. But I couldn't do that. I turned my head towards the backstage, seeing her leave through the door. We had to make this up right now or I won't see her ever again.

I looked at the screaming girls in front of the stage once more and then took off the guitar while running towards Geoff.

There was confusement on his face when I handed him the guitar. The crowd screamed louder when I had left the stage.

I reached backstage and searched for her in the dim light. She could've already left. I asked every passing person if they had seen her and some described a crying girl walking around, giving me directions where she had gone.

Finally I had searched every corner of the backstage. I was losing hope and maybe I had already lost her.

I headed back to my dressing room. There was no point in going back on stage and I wouldn't enjoy the show also. I entered the room, sighing and scratching the back of my neck in frustration. I can't believe I let her go.

Suddenly the door creaked open and there she was standing, a letter written on notepaper in her hand. I guess that was meant for me and she wanted to leave it here so I could find it but she didn't expect to bump into me.

She opened her mouth to say something but closed it quickly changing her mind. She handed me the paper but I grabbed her hand so she couldn't leave. She seemed hurt and stressed out. I wanted to make this up. I knew we can manage it. There's always a way.

"Shawn, we can't do this. You need to live your life and I can't ruin it. I already ruined your night," she started off.

"You didn't ruin anything babe. I am the luckiest guy to have you and living together with you would be perfect." I hold onto her other hand too.

"You are lying. You have a career. You can't just quit it for a stupid mistake," she tried to explain.

"This isn't a mistake and sure as hell I am not lying to you. You have no idea how much I love and need you. And I will love the baby growing in your stomach the same amount. Our baby!" I leaned closer to her, making sure the important words from my mouth reach her. I needed her to understand.

"I will take a break from this and spend as much time as I can with you and the baby we are going to raise together. The baby deserves a good father and I couldn't be more happy than to be one."

A little smile grew on her face which made my heart jump in joy.

"This is going to be our future and I'm not letting anything get in the way of us living it."

Her eyes were brimming in joy tears. She whimpered as she hugged me, burying her face in the crook of my neck. I held her gently in my arms like she would broke. The feeling was undescribable. Everything was now perfect.
