Chapter 15

I was waking to at first in a haze then to a brightly lit room. I looked up at the ceiling then looked to my left and right. The room I was in was made of stone. There was a window to the right of me. There was a desk in front of the window. On the left side there was another table but with herbs and other plants to heal wounds. There was maybe one or two shelves. Other than that,there wasn't much else in the room. I was placed on a small bed in the center of the room. I sat up.the bed had one pillow and fur covers. I was still dressed in my clothes from the future.Why am I not dead yet? Where am I? The door was across the room from my bed. I hear the door open. I look at the door. A girl walked in the room. " Vous Vous Sentez mieux?" She says to me. ( are you feeling better? That's what she said to Lilly in French.in case some of you were wondering what she said.) " I am sorry.i don't know what you're saying." I say. She looks at me in confusion. She puts her hand to my forehead. Then she pours me a cup of water and hands it to me. I drink the water. She takes it from me and sets it on the table. I then soon noticed I wasn't hungry anymore.i guess I got feed some soup while I was passed out. " que portes tu? "  ( what are you wearing?)she says while looking at my clothes. I looked at her in confusion. " I don't know what you're saying." I say really slowly to her. She finds some paper and a ink pen and draws what looked like to be my clothing. Oh I get it.she wanted to know what I am wearing. She brought more paper over and handed it to me. I wrote on the paper saying this is what people wore in my village. She seemed to understand what I wrote but I wasn't too sure. I had noticed she wore maid's clothes. I guess she's a maid here. I drew on a different piece of paper and asked where I am. She drew on the paper a castle. I guess she knew where am I? In English. She then took the cup of water and pitcher of water and left the room. I was left alone with just the paper and pen and bottle of ink. I got up and put the stuff away on the table. I wonder who lives here? Are they some kind of noblemen? I look out the window.i could see snow covered trees and arches of land covered in snow. I decided to find my bag.thankfully,I found it next to my bed.i was also glad that nothing was taken from it. I put my purse on.then found my sword next to the table near the window.i put it on my waist and left the room. I wore a black skirt with black leggings and black shoes with a red shirt and hair band. My hair was down. I walked around the castle trying to find someone who spoke English and French who could know what I am saying. The same girl with brown hair and eyes spotted me. She took my hand and lead me though different hallways to a room that seemed like the throne room. Everyone was staring at me either with fear or curiousity. They were dressed like nobles. The girl then leaves the room. I stood in the middle of the room surrounded with people who could easily kill me.i was a little scared and yet amused by it. Sitting on the thrones were the king and queen. They were dressed in their royal clothing. But I also knew that everyone else was dressed royal clothing. To them,I was a stranger.a commoner, someone from a strange world with strange clothes. To them I was most likely the enemy than an ally. The king spoke French to me but I still had no idea what he was saying. I look at him with confusion. Then I noticed I forgot to bow. I bowed to him. I have to remember to bow to royalty. I heard him spoke to someone.then a young man walked up to me. " hello,my name is Davis.i will be your translator for you." He says. He had brown hair and blue eyes. He wore clothing that hinted he was a personal helper of some noblemen. " thank you. I am Lilly." I say to him. He the looks at the king and translate what I said. The king speaks again. Davis then says " he welcomes you to his kingdom but is asking why you're dressed in strange clothes and where you're from." " I am from a village far away from here and the people where I am dress like this." I say. Davis translates what I said to the king again. " he says he won't kill you since you don't pose a threat to us.you will be treated as an honored guest  here." Davis says. " tell him I am honored and thank you." I say to Davis. Davis again translates what I say. " the king says you will have to change into our style of clothing since you will be staying here as long you see fit.one of the ladies in waiting will help you." Davis says to me. The king says something to a lady in waiting and the next thing I knew I was in a spare room changing in a long flowing dress. The girl had blonde hair and blue eyes. The dress she helped me with was a light blue color with diamonds on it. My hair was kept down. A bit of my hair was put into a two thin braids in the front of my hair. The shoes I had to wear were blue flat like shoes. My hair was behind my shoulders. I heard Davis knock on the door. Davis had waited outside for me. " come in." I say. He walks in. The girl says something to him. He says something back. " what did she say?" I ask Davis. " she just thought you looked pretty.i just agreed with her." He says. " thank you." I say. " I should show you around the castle." He says. I follow him around the castle as he tells me the history of France and who was who in the kingdom. He told me of the different books in the library. " have you heard of people who can speak and hear other people's thoughts?" He says. " no I haven't heard of them." I say. It was a lie. I have heard of people like that. " well from what I have heard more and more of them are popping up all over the world.not only that,there seems to be strange things happening since they appeared." He says. " strange things?" I say. " yes.strange things like demons coming to attack people.odd markings left behind from the demons. All sorts of things. There's even talk of black magic at work here in the castle.but of course that's just rumors." He says. " but is anyone writing these things down,you know like a journal." I say. " not that I know of.why are you curious about it?" He says. " oh it's nothing.i was just worried about it that's all." I say. " well as long as you're safe inside the castle then it should be fine." He says. A noblemen came up to Davis. He says something to him. " excuse me,lady Lilly.i have go do something." Davis says. Davis walks away. The noblemen says something to me then walks away. I still don't know what everyone is saying to me. I still have to find the book here in the past and uncover dark secrets to do so. I walked around the castle some more.i was up against the wall when I felt the wall inward behind. I turn around to see what it was. Nothing. I push the wall inward.inside was a passage way. I walk inside.i remembered to close the wall door behind me. Then I slowly began to move forward in the passage way.since I had no light with me,I had to feel everything out. But then I remembered a spell that can help you see in the dark. I chanted the spell. A ball of light appeared and hovered Next to me as I walked further down the hall. I found there were many hallways connecting to each other to many parts of the castle. I turned down a hallway to my right then one to my left until,I found a small room. I opened the door.the room was empty except for a table and some shelves.ok and maybe a few herbs and some books. I went though the books. I found the book that I was looking for.i flipped though it. It was halfway finished. All that needed to be added was stuff from the woods. I took out the book from the future from my bag.i noticed the rest of the book was in my handwriting. So,I write the rest of this book in French which means I learned French to finish the book and went into the woods to do so. Ok,so how do I finish and when? I decided to figure it along the way.i decided to get herbs and a few more books for the small room.as for the book,I need to go to the woods to finish it.i could say I am going for a walk. That could work. But I can't tell anyone about it.but there's Davis.he will ask questions.i guess I could him in on it,but he might think I am crazy. I could tell him about the room and what I found.i put the book from the past back on the shelve.then I put the one I had brought with me in my bag.i found my way and went to find Davis. I found Davis just walking out of a room. " Davis,Can I speak with you?" I say. " yes of course.what is it?" He says. " I found a hidden room filled with herbs and books." I say in a whisper. " what? But how?" He says. " I was walking around the castle some more when I stumbled a upon a hidden passage way behind the stone wall." I say. " but why are you telling me?" He says. " because I trust you. I need to show you something in that room too.follow me." I say. He nods and follows me to the hidden room. I showed him the book and what it contained inside. " this is amazing.i never knew something like this was hidden behind castle walls." He says. " me too. Until today." I say. " but how does this book help us solve what's going on in the woods?" He says. " I don't know.but that's why I am going to the woods to figure it out." I say. " but you can't.the woods are a dangerous place.you might get hurt." He says. " don't worry,I'll be fine." I say. " but while you're out there in the woods,what will I do?" He says. " you stay here and write what's in the book about what I see. We could also gather herbs and plants to helps us as well." I say. He thinks for a moment. " sure.but we must be careful.if we get caught,we could get hanged." He says. " thanks Davis." I say. " I have a question." He says. " what is it?" I say. " you sound like you done this before,have you done things like this before?" He asks me. " yes and no. I have trained to do things like it.but never done something like this before." I say. " you know,I have had a theory about you for some time now." He says. " oh,what theory was it?" I say. " the theory I had was that you're from a different time. Sent here for your own safety." He says. " Davis what if I told you that your theory was right?" I say." Then I would tell you,if it's for the good of the future then I will be there by your side every step of the way." He says. 

3 years later..........

Davis and I over these last three years had became close friends. We finished the book without getting caught.there were a few close calls though. I had made friends with some of the people living in the castle. I liked living here.but I knew I have to go back to the future.my time here in France was over,it was time for me to go home. I had also caught two new ninetales as well. A fairy type and water type. The fairy type was Valletta and the water type was named Aquamarine. I packed my stuff. As I was getting ready to leave,Davis,Kate,Laura,Samantha and Wes walked in. " I didn't think you would show up." I say. " of course we would.we're your friends." Samantha says. " we came to give you this." Laura says to me. She hands me a hair clip.it had a snowman on it. I take it from her. " thank you so much for the hair clip.i will never forget you." I say to all of them. " we will never forget you too." Wes says. " and if you're ever in France again,look us up." Kate says. We all hug.  " Davis.thank you for helping me. I am glad I met you." I say to him.
" me too,Lilly.me too." He says. We all cried a little. " well I guess this is it." I say. I take the potion and drink it. " see you again soon." I say to them. And with that,I disappeared from the past and back to the future in the witch's cabin. When I returned,the witch was already waiting for me. " hey.you're back." She says. " yeah.its good to be back." I say. " come on.everyone is waiting for you back in North Carolina." She says. I follow her back to North Carolina in her car. She leaves once I get my stuff out of the car. I walk back into Brian's house. " I am back." I say. Nothing.i set my stuff down. I look around the house for everyone. When I didn't see anyone,I looked in the garden. No one was there as well. Where was everyone. I figured they might be at the cemetery since they might think I am dead. I walked the hills of North Carolina to the cemetery. On the top of the hill in the distance,I could see everyone huddled around a tombstone.a little girl looked up and saw me. She shouted something and everyone looked at me. Everyone was at first in shock in happiness.they ran to me as I walked down the hill. Everyone was hugging me and asking me where I was for the last three years. I told them what happened. " where's Brian?" I say. " he's by the lake under the willow tree.he thought you were dead for the last three years." His father says. " thank you." I say. I walk to the lake. I saw Brian sitting under the willow tree. I walk up to him. " leave me alone,Megan.its not a good time." He says. " ok.i could always come back in another 3 years." I say. He then jumps up and turns around. " how are you here? I thought you died."he says. I hugged him." I am sorry I didn't tell anything.i didn't mean for this to happen." I whispered to him. I let go of him. He smiles.he had tears in his eyes. " I am just happy you finally came home to me." He says. " me too." I say. " just promise me something. Promise me when you go to do something,tell me a head of time." He says. " of course. But first,we still have to do something." I say. " do something? Do what?" He says confused. He had stopped crying. " yeah.we still have to get married." I say.  He hugged me. " knew Lilly was going to say that." Vince says. I turn around.everyone was walking up to us. " ok.but I am not wearing a wedding dress though." I say. I was wearing my light blue dress from France. " no prob.we can have the wedding here." Megan says. After the wedding, we went home. We had a party for the wedding and for my welcome home. I was on the Terrence looking at the sky. I feel arms wrap around my body. " what are you thinking about?" Brian says." Nothing.just about my mom. She would have loved to see my wedding." I say. " yeah I am sure she would. What was your mom like?" He says. I smile. " she was amazing. The way she took care of everyone,it was like she could anything." I say. " but did you know about your mom and lucifer being related as a child?" He says. " no.i didn't." I say. We look up at the stars together. I wondered what life will hold for us? It will include a happy ending or a rocky one? But I do know one time,Time waits for no one not even for God or the devil themselves.

Chapter 15 is the last chapter of this book. I might do a story on Lilly's grandmother. Or would you the fans like to see something new.plz let me know in the comments.
