Chapter 14

We drove a few more hours until we got to the town outside of Pennsylvania. The town was named river end. It was a little bigger than plums Ville. We decided to stay at a hotel in town that was owned by a couple and 10 kids. We had gotten there in the late morning so all of their kids were at school thankfully. We had gotten a room with two beds which was good. I look out of the room's window.the view was pretty. In all honesty the town was really pretty. " Lilly.stay here while I go to check out the lead. Don't answer it unless it is the family that owns the hotel,room service or the staff,got it?" Jose says. " got it." I say. " good.i am off." He says before leaving the room. I walk around the room,wondering what to do. It was a sunny day and I was stuck inside. I let maki and Draco out of their poke balls. I checked to see what draco's moves were.the moves were thunderbolt,flamethrower, iron tail, and dragon breath. I bend down to talk to them. " how are you feeling maki and Draco?" I say. They said mah to me. I took that as a good. I stand up. " let's take a walk." I say to them. I grabbed my purse and walked out the room with maki and Draco. I sneak maki and Draco on by the owners so I didn't get us kicked out. I told maki and Draco to act like dogs so it won't seem weird to be walking around with shadows. I walked around town,until I came to a collector's store. I returned maki and Draco to their poke balls then walked inside. The staff there were all women. They either had blond,brown or black hair.maybe one or two of them had red hair. They wore jeans and different colored shirts and shoes. Their hair was either up in a ponytail or bun or down all together. The place was neater than most collector's stores. I looked at the different things on the shelves and counters. " hi.can I help you with anything?" A girl with blonde hair up in a ponytail with pink strips in it. Her eyes were blue. " no thank you.i am just looking around." I say. " ok.if you need anything,just let me know." She says before walking away. Just then a guy walks in and I knew who was. It was Brian. I hid behind some shelves. I pretended to look at some things. " excuse me. Have any of you seen a girl about my age,has long black hair with hazel eyes and has pale skin. About 5'8." He says to the women at the counter. " no.haven seen anyone like that come around here." The girl who I was talking to earlier says. " why are you looking for her?" Another girl says.
" she's my fiancé and she seemed to have disappeared." He says. " oh I am so sorry." She says. " don't feel bad.my brother took her." He says. " oh i see. So she's cheating on you?" The first girl says. " no.i hope not." He says. I quietly back towards the back door. I was almost to the back door when I was spotted by Brian. " there you are." He says. I ran out the back door. I ran down the street as fast as I could. Brian was right behind me. Thankfully I was on the track team since I was little. Just then  two blonde haired girl in black clothing waved me over near an alley. " this way quickly." One of them say. I followed them down the alley as we ran from Brian. We ran as fast we could until we got to an old office building. " quickly in here." The same girl says. We ran inside the building.then I knew why. The door had a lock that locked the door instantly. We went up stairs. I looked out of the window.brian was at the door demanding that we open the door. He also demanded why I ran away from him when I claimed I loved him. I back away from the window. I turn to the girls who helped me." Who are you?" I say. " we could ask you the same thing." The same girl says. " I am Lilly." I say. " I am Britney and this is my twin sister Karen." She says. " thanks for helping me." I say. " why was that guy after you?" Karen says. " he was after me because I ran away from him after I said I would marry him.i ran away with his older brother Jose." I say. " wait.did you say Jose?" Britney says. " yeah I did.why?" I say. " we know him.we were the ones who have the lead. He was here a few moments ago.he said he had to get back to someone." Karen says. " I am guessing he was referring to you." Britney says. " I was supposed to stay in the hotel room." I say. " well he's going to be mad that you left without his permission." Karen says. Just then Britney's phone rang. " hello? " she says. " oh hey Jose. Yeah she's here.yeah she's fine.ok I will let her know.ok bye." She says before hanging up. " what's going on?" I say. " well we need to get to the plaza. Jose will pick us up there. We were going to New York to find out more about that bond of yours." She says. " what do you mean by 'us'?" I say. " she means we're coming with you." Karen says. " but first we need to lose Brian." I say. We went out the back door that luckily faced the plaza. I was sure glad to see Jose there in the car waiting for us. We all got in the car. Jose starts to drive the car out of town.my stuff was in the trunk of the car. " what were you thinking going outside like that?" Jose says to me. Britney and Karen were in the back two seats of the car. " I am sorry.i just wanted to go outside and have a walk." I say. " just don't do it again without my permission." He says. " ok." I say. " by the way,what was the lead that you guys found?" I say. " this." Britney says handing me a book. I look at the book. The book had an old brown cover with a flame on it. " so what does this book have to do with our bond?" I say. " well read it to find out." Karen says. I open the book. There were different picture and a strange language on the pages. " are we going to New York or a past New York?" I say. " well more like you're going to a past France,we're going to New York today." Jose says. " why am I going to the past?" I say. " to keep you safe from Brian." Britney says. " 1 month would be like six months here. 3 months would be a year here as well." Karen says. " how long will I be in the past?" I say. " until you're 19 years old and it's safe for you to return." Jose says. " but you will be finding more about the bond from there as well since the origin of the book is French." Britney says. " but what about Brian?" I say. " he won't find out about what's been going on.he'll just tell mom and dad." Jose says. " ok.so say I do go to the past,what will happen to me there? And how will I get to the past?" I say. " I don't know. And we know someone who can send you to the past." Karen says. " we're meeting them soon." Britney says. " so I would be gone for 3 years." I say. " exactly." Jose says. We drove to a small cabin in the woods where an old witch lived. Her house was a mess. It was covered with things I didn't want to describe. " I have already made the potion to send Lilly to the past." She says to Jose. She then gets the potion from the desk that was filled with other potions and handed it to me. I took the potion from her. " drink this.you will then be sent to the past." She says to me. " oh and one more thing.you can't tell anyone from the past you're from the future,it will ruin the timeline in which certain events take place." She says. " well,here it goes." I say. I drink the potion. A bright yellow light swirled around me as I begin to fade away into the past. " well see you in three years." I say to everyone before finally fading away into the past.  The yellow light transported me to a snowy wooded area somewhere outside of Paris. I look around.great I am in France during winter. It was daytime.that was good a least because I could see my surroundings a lot better than at night. I started walking.i didn't know where I was going. All I knew was I had to find some place warm. I thought to myself of how I was going to live in France.it was during the time of kings and queens so I wasn't sure if they spoke English or not. That was the tricky part being able to spoke to them when you don't know their language at all. I was cold and hungry. The more I walked the more I began feeling faint.and then finally,I collapsed on the snow only seeing shadows of what looked like people.
