Preparation pt. 2

Peridot Pov:
I heard Steven call from outside that we needed to drive to the location.

I'm so scared....

I know we have everything already set up but.... This is crazy as shit.

I turned to face the mirror.

I look like a nerd.

I guess I always have.

....and I guess I kind of am.

I ran down the steps, I had to get there before Lapis. And quick.

Peridot: I AM COMING DOWN!!

Steven jumped in his dad's van, but of course I have something better planned for Lapis.

I slammed open the passenger side door and swung myself in there.

Peridot: UP THE HILL!!!!

Greg drove as fast as he could, which was not very fast.

Steven: are you excited Peridot?

I looked back at him.

Peridot: Just.....scared. I want everything to go as planned.

Steven: It will..

I sure hope so.

Lapis Pov:
I put on heels and took a bouquet of flowers from a jar I was saving for this moment.

I looked in the mirror.

At my curls.

At my dress.

My jewelry.

My make-up.....

I was doing this for not just me, but for Peridot.

All of this.... It was so worth it.

I looked at the clock, 6:53

OH MY QUARTZ I HAVE TO LEAVE.

I ran outside, holding my dress above the sand.

Then I saw.

There was a limousine waiting for me.

For me.

A man opened the door for me and I stepped inside thanking him.

I looked around at the interior.

Next to me was a flower crown with a card next to it.

Card: This is for you.
I can't wait for us to be married.
Put it on, quickly!
