Lapis Pov:

I stepped out of the shower, and wrapped a towel around my hair, and body.

Lapis Lazuli: Oh dear god, please make this day a good one. Nothing bad... Nothing bad...

I took deep breaths.

I was about to get married.

Peridot Pov:
I can't stop scattering around everywhere.

I haven't even put my suit on yet.

I grabbed it and ran into the closet.

I checked the time.
The wedding was at 7:30, right at sunset.

It was 4:45pm!!!!!

Peridot: gaAHHHHH!!!

I threw it on and looked for my shoes.

Am I actually doing this...?

Lapis Pov:

I was curling my hair, Connie's mother was going to help me lace up the dress so she would be here at 5-6.

I was panicking, even though I had quite some time left.

I grabbed the curling iron, and was careful to not burn myself.

I looked to my side and saw my dress, hanging in its bag on the door.

I sighed and set the curler down, even though my hair was only halfway done.

I am so in love.

Peridot Pov:

I took my shoes and sat down, trying to not rip my suit.

I am doing this for Lapis. And only Lapis.

Once I got them on, and tied them up, I stood and looked in the mirror.

Peridot: what am I forgetting.... Aha!

My bow tie!

I took it and buttoned it in the back.

I fixed my hair up, making it look tidy and not like a raccoon.

I then heard the doorbell, and walked down the stairs to see Mrs. Mahaswaren standing outside.

Peridot: hello, aren't you Connies mother?

Dr. Mahaswaren: yes, where is Lapis..?

I pointed to the bathroom.

She nodded and pushed past me.

Peridot: ....okay...

Lapis Pov:

I heard the door slam open, and I stared at Connie's mother.

Lapis Lazuli: o-oh, Mrs. Ma-

Dr. Mahaswaren: yes yes, just pull your dress on once you are done curling your hair, I will be waiting.

Lapis Lazuli: okay, thanks-!

She slammed the door.

Okay then.

I finished my last piece of hair and slipped the dress up, and held it.

Lapis Lazuli: Mrs. Mahaswaren!?

She opened the door.

Dr. Mahaswaren: turn around.

I turned slowly, trying to keep it as neat as possible.

She tied the corset top up very forcefully.

Dr. Mahaswaren: done. Now hurry, it is 5:30.

Lapis Lazuli: y-yes!

How am I going to do all this quickly!?
