Chapter 29 - Killer Instinct

"There's going to be trouble" I said,

"I don't like this" Arii then said, Tayte handed them over to our Taxi driver, who then in turn handed them out the window to the police officer, we watched him as he looked them over carefully, then looked at us through the window, he smiled and it wasn't a warm and friendly smile either, it was cold and menacing,

"Can you all get out of the car please" He said sternly,

"Why does he want us to get out of the car?" Noah asked,

"I'm sure it's nothing, best do as they say" Our taxi driver answered, we got out of the taxi and stood there, not looking very pleased at all. It was obvious to anyone that these two men were most certainly not police officers, for one they were wearing a fancy dress police costume, except I knew one thing for sure, that was most definitely a real gun,

"What is the purpose of your stay? Business or pleasure?" He asked,

  "Both" I answered,

"Where will you be staying?"

"Church Bay" I replied,

"With who and for how long?"

   "Why are you so interested? Are you going to arrest us? What is all this about?"

"I might do if you're going to give me that attitude. I don't have to tell you anything"

"Listen officer, what's the problem here? These kids have travelled half way across the world and just want to get to their destination"

"I fully understand that, so why can they not answer my questions?"

"Because you are being nosey" I retorted, I guess that was all he needed, he grabbed me, spinning me around and whipping handcuffs on my wrist, pain erupted across my ribs, "Bastard" I spat,

"Hey, what are you doing?" Tayte snapped, I was body smashed against the bonnet of the police car,

"Hold on officer, he has done nothing wrong" the taxi driver said, his cheerful and high spirited mood disappearing,

"This doesn't concern you civilian, so do not get involved"

"Get these fucking handcuffs off me" I snapped, he body slammed me again. "FUCK" I screamed, Tayte then lunged for the pretend officer.

But before any shit could go down, another police car pulled up behind us and this time I knew they were real police officers, they climbed out of their car and walked over all authoritive.

   "What seems to be the problem here?"

"I've been attacked and fucking forcefully manhandled and restrained for no apparent reason" I snapped,

"Shut the fuck up" He snarled, slamming me again,

"They're not even real police officers" Arii said, "They hurt my brother. None of this is fair, they said they were going to do things to me," She then said, turning on the wobbly lip and tears. The real police officers were then alert to what was going on, things were swiftly sorted out after that, myself being un-handcuffed for one.

However, scenes that occurred after were very shocking and no one expected it.

"You bastards, you were warned weren't you, warned by Cylan, warned by Galviao, warned by your own demons that you're going to die. There's no getting away from it Keane, you my son, are going to die"
