Chapter 17
"Mga walang kwentang tao." Adrian was obviously pissed matapos nilang madatnan ni Vannie ang magulong itsura ngayon ng council room.
Hindi alam ni Vanessa kung anong mararamdaman niya. Kaagad naman siyang naglakad-lakad at kinukuha isa-isa ang mga nagkalat na mga gamit sa sahig. Tahimik lang siya habang pinupulot ang mga ito. Why is Samuel doing this to her?
"I was starting to think you're different, Vanessa." Halata sa boses nito ang pagkadismaya nito sa kanya. "But now, you have proven everything."
"You don't know who I am, Vanessa. And you can't dissolve my fraternity or anything else. Because I will be the one destroying you into pieces, Velasco. Remember that."
"Vannie, dapat natin ito ireport sa guidance. This is too much." Adrian suggested as she stood up again. Hindi naman kaagad nakapagsalita si Vannie sa sinabi nito sa kanya. She was just merely staring at Adrian while contemplating everything that happened.
Somehow, she felt guilty.

Vannie just sighed. Nasa isang convention hall kasi siya sa isang hotel kung saan may nagaganap na isang seminar and as usual, siya na naman ang ipinadala ng university para maging representative. She was sitting with other student representatives from the different universities in one table.
Pagkatapos kasi ang insidenteng iyon, when they found out the fraternity wrecked her place, pinabayaan muna niya ito. She didn't report them yet although Adrian has been insisting her. But she won't, for now.
Then she went directly to the hotel where the seminar would be held. She need to a peace of mind first for everything.
"And the speaker for this seminar, let's welcome, one of the youngest entrepreneur of our country, Mr. Samuel Ignacio Rivera III!" Nagsilakpakan naman ang lahat nang tinawag ang pangalan ng lalake. And then a very familiar figure went up to the stage and shook the hands of hosts and guests.
Hindi naman kaagad nakapagsalita si Vannie nang makita ang lalake. Bakit hindi niya alam na ito ang speaker para sa event na iyon? She was too shocked to react. She didn't even clap.
And from what she observed, mukhang good mood pa ang lalake. Samuel was even smiling at them. The guy was even wearing a business suit na parang CEO na CEO talaga ang dating.
But she almost caught her breath the moment their eyes met. Alam niyang nakita siya ni Samuel doon kaya ngayon, nakipagtagisan ito ng tingin sa kanya. He frowned when he saw her. Napayuko na lang tuloy siya. She felt guilty somehow. And it's been days since kinakausap siya nito ng maayos. She knew now, galit na galit ito sa kanya.
But his fraternity was over the limits too.
"Okay, thank you everyone, please take a seat." Samuel said when he got the mic and everyone sat after.

"Enjoying your dinner?" Nagulat naman si Vanessa nang may biglang nagsalita. Nakita naman niya si Sam na nasa table na nila ngayon kaso ang iba pang mga student representatives. Bumisita kasi ito sa iba't-ibang table na nandoon and it was an early dinner. Tapos na kasi itong magbigay ng speech.
Honestly, she was really amazed. Talagang magaling kasi si Samuel na magsales talk. She would even admit that the guy could really persuade them from his words. Siguro nga dahil lumaki ito sa isang politikong pamilya kaya magaling ito sa mga salita. Usually kapag ganitong mga seminars ang inaattend niya, inaantok siya but with Sam, she got interested in every details that the man had said earlier.
