I woke up with Michael trying to snuggle himself in between Luke and I

"What the fuck you think you doing?" I opened my eyes and watch him with his red hair trying to settle

"I miss cuddling with Luke" he gives up and rest on his knees then pokes Luke on the cheek "I used to be his cuddle buddy, now he likes you better" Mike pouts

I noticed that recently he has being very needy and quite annoyed by Luke and Calum being in a relationship. He should get a girlfriend, for like yesterday.

Luke sighs deeply and opens his blue eyes

"Mike, what are you doing here?" He rubs his eyelids

"I just wanted to cuddle with you, baby penguin" Mike pouts again making me smile

"I'll let you two catch up, I'll be outside" I smile, I'm actually not bothered by Mikey's intrusion. I kiss Luke quickly and leave the tent

I find Calum sitting on the sand with a cigarette on his lips. It's kinda early and is a little bit chilly with the wind.

"Hey" I sit next to him and brace my knees "What made you jump out of bed this early?" I ask him, Cal smirks and offers me the cigarette. I reject it, Luke hates when I smoke

"Nothing, I just needed to think about stuff" He pokes the sand with his toes

"Like what?" I like to think Cal and I are close friends, at first he didn't like me much but now I think he at least likes me

He sighs again, taking a deep smoke then letting it out.

"Mostly college" he says with his eyes glued to the ocean "I don't have enough grades to get into the same place Kira applied to, actually the only place I can get into is so far from hers" he shrieks then looks at me with hurt in his eyes "I'm falling for her, Liza. For the first time someone was able to break into my heart of steel and I'll lose her"

"That's not true, you don't have to lose her because of the distance" I reply right away

"Not only because of the distance" he sighs with a sad pout in his lips "She's brilliant, I know that. She's going to a place where everyone is brilliant like her so it will be only a matter of time until she finds a guy that's compatible with her and leave me"

He seems very upset. We don't know each other super well but I remember when I first saw him, he looked so blunt. Like nothing could ever hurt his heart because he kept it far from being touch. Like he didn't have anything inside his ribcage. But now he looks as hurt as all of us who are in love. Ready to be broken at any second

"Don't think like this, Cal" I say and place my hand on his shoulder "If she really loves you like I'm sure she does she would never ditch you because of some stiffed rich bow tied genius boy" I nod, trying to comfort him "She has Calum fucking Hood as her boyfriend, I'm sure she doesn't need anything else"

He smiles and leans his head over my shoulder

"Don't care about what Mike bitches about you, you're pretty awesome" Cal finishes his cigarette and stands up, walking back into his tent.

I stare the ocean and do some thinking on my own. I think about the future, what will I do. My first thought is Luke, of course. He will probably choose the college his mom wants and go from there, actually I've never asked him where is he applying to, I might apply as well. Not because of him, or because I have to, I've been thinking about my future and how am I supposed to support myself after I graduate.

I don't want to keep leaving with my parents, I need some place of my own. Maybe going to college won't be that bad, maybe it could teach me more than just a career. Then I think about what should I do, I don't want to be a doctor neither a lawyer.
