Chapter 18: LOVE?

"You see, it's really easy. You buy a ticket and move away from earth. Tadah! You're gone!"

After hours of working and signing paper works that you didn't really read, you find yourself sitting

"(Y/N)," Tadashi's voice boomed in the silence. 

'I stand corrected' you thought.

"And what is it you need, Hamada?" You asked sourly, not eve bothering to look at his face. You knew that one glimpse of his face can irritate you and at the same time, make you smile.

"Nothing. I was just passing by until I saw you, I thought you needed company since you're all alone," he said, taking a sit on the swing next to you. You finally faced him, your expression shouting the word 'stay away from me'.

"I need company, of course. But of all people, why does the universe have to pick you? A nerdy, cheap, heart breaker. Thank goodness you decided to hurt me. I would have been a fool to love someone like you. You can easily be thrown away, just like the trash that you are. Maybe that's why Kylie broke up with you in the first place."

Tadashi gulped, his hands now forming into tight fists. You grinned at that. Yes, you nearly forgot how good it feels to hurt someone.

"Don't bring her into this."

You snapped, standing up and laughing at his pathetic state. "Just look at you, Tadashia Hamada! Crying and grieving over a girl who has been dead for I don't--years! Accept the fact that she's not going to come back to life! She's dead, Tadashi! Dead! Face reality! Face the fact you can't move on from that tragic."

Tadashi snaps. He stands up and grabbed your wrist,pulling you closer to him. You felt you heart pick up pace as he enveloped you in am embrace, a tight embrace that can surely make you weak to your knees. But memories from the past CA!r rushing and flooding your mind, all the bitterness and sweetness mixing.  It's just overwhelming you. You wanted to hug back but you restrained yourself.

Now you knew the feeling of "So close yet so far".

"It hurts, (Y/N). I know what you said is true but it still hurts," you felt something drop on your cheek. Tadashi is crying. One of the man you have thought was strong is crying.

You smirked. "Nothing hurts more than being kicked in the balls. So stop crying, you weakling. You're acting so childish by your lover's death. If you really want to see Kylie once again, I'll plan your murder tonight. How does that sound?" You spouted, your smirk growing wider.

Tadashi wiped away his tears and a small smile appeared on his lips. "You know, (Y/N). No matter what happens, you find a way to make me smile. That's one of the things why I love you."

You scoffed, crossing your arms. "Love me? Oh wow, why don't we send that lineto the Oscars, that acting of yours looks so real that you might actually win." You said.

"What acting?" Tadashi asks, his head tilting to the side.

You laughed, walking a bit forward him. "Oh, you know. That all 'one of the things why I love you' cliche line. You don't love me, Tadashi. You love Kylie Johnson. Are you dumber than I thought?" You scoffed. In a quick motion, you grabbed his collar and pulled his face closer. So close you can feel his short and quick breathe.

"I don't know if your little brain can process what I'm going to say but never ever use the word love if you haven't felt it towards me, and no attached feelings to another. Got that?" You whispered huskily into his ear and you nearly giggled when you saw his ear turn pink.

Tadashi pulls away, his cheeks tinted pink and a heart melting smile curved upon his kissable lips. You mentally slapped yourself. 'Kissable? Seriously? '

"Fine, I won't use the term love then," Tadashi presses his forehead on yours after taking off his cap and you two stared into each others eyes. "I like you, (Y/N)."

You had to stop the strong urge to laugh at his escape. With a forced scowl, you pushed Tadashi away and he laughed as he tumbled back, fixing his cap properly back on his head.

"You freak.." You muttered as you turned to leave.

"Wait up! I really like you (Y/N)! See, I'm smart! I found a loop hole!" Tadashi runs after you, a grin finally on his face.

Finally updated! Sorry if I haven't updated for a while. There was no Internet again. Hopefully our school break is near and there will be internet! Yey! Also, I listed down all the chapters so it's official ; this story is going to be fifty chapter long.
