The next couple of weeks were nice. Sapphire, Rose, Greg, and I were all in the same lunch period so we all sat together. "So guys, guess what.." sapphire started. "...what?" Both Greg and I said in usion. "We are in student council!" Rose finnished. Both Greg and I let up. "Woah..awesome!! I knew y'all would make it!" I said Sapphire smiled at me and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. "Heh...well...yeah..." She said slightly blushing. I smiled and glanced at Greg and Rose who were wiggling their eyebrows. I felt my face get hot and I looked down. Just then the bell rang. "Uh..well off to 6th period I guess..." said rose. We nodded. "...Bye Ruby...Greg.." Sapphire waved at us as rose and her head off to class. I waved back "bye...." I sighed. Man is this what love feels like? I feel so....shy around her. "-y...-uby!...Ruby!!" Greg said waving a hand in my face. I snapped out of it. "Wah.?....sorry zoned out" I said. "Yeah I could tell come on we are going to be late and I don't want to be tardy." Greg said. We headed off to English. The period was about half way though when my teacher got our attention. "Okay class, as you may or may not know, homecoming is in 2 weeks...the theme this year is Stary Night so dress to color scheme.." She said. Homecoming? HOMECOMING!! I need to ask Sapphire...what I'd she says no...ugh! The bell rang and I waited for Greg. "Hey rubes! Who you gonna go with to homecoming? I'm gonna ask Rose I have a whole plan to ask after school!" Greg said "what!? You already have a plan!?" I said "yup! You gonna ask Sapph?" He asked nudging me in the shoulder. Greg and Rose hooked up..He made a move...well more like she did...but they are dating now... "w-well....yeah...but we are not dating." I said "yeah but you can still ask...neither one of you have made a move yet and you both like each other clearly!" He said. "Yeah.....wait she likes me!?" I said "...really bruh! She giggles at like everything you say!" He said. I smiled at the thought of it. So after school Greg and I left class early, with our asking out teacher first. We went to Rose's classroom. Greg stayed out in the hallway where he couldn't be seen from the window in the door. I went in with a "note from another teacher" and gave it to her teacher. Both rose a sapph looked up at me. I waved at them and me and the teacher played it cool. Then when class ended. The teacher had Rose leave first. And when she walked out of the door, Greg was standing with a box of Krispy Kreme doughnuts and a poster that says "homecoming?". I thought it was the cutest thing. And of course she said yes. Sapph came over to me and smiled. "I'm so happy for her..." She said and sighed a bit. I could tell she really wanted to get asked. Well....I'm gonna have to think of a plan and ask her.
