WA [DR] 48 - Honesty Or Pride?

WA 48 – Honesty or Pride?

I happily settled myself at the nearest window. The wind is banging like a mad man. The rain is pouring all its water in the land—making it flood. Inayos ko ang pagkakapulupot ng kumot sa katawan ko. It's freezing cold. Rain brings thunderstorm. Thunder growls like a hungry wolf. Mas lalo lang akong gininaw dahil sa lakas ng ulan.

I flipped the pages of my book. Nakakahanga ang mga sumulat nito. This books contains a story from the history... Napapanganga ka sa husay nila.

Not all good people will remain good forever. Sometimes, the least you expect—nor the bad ones may also be the good one, too. Not all things are permanent. It will always change into something new. Kaya, huwag tayong umasang kung anong nakagisnan ay siyang magiging makakasanayan habang buhay.

The story tells us to trust another people—not just the good ones but also the bad ones. Sa kahit anong pagkakataon, magiging mabuti rin sila. Tiyaga at pasensya lang ang kailangan dahil hindi naidadala ang lahat sa isang tulog lamang.

The sorcerers from the east—ang siyang sumagip sa kanilang lahat. They defeated the evil sorcerers from the north. By and by, habang tumatagal, nagbabago ang takbo ng mga pangyayari. Maybe the sorcerers from the east was very overwhelmed with the attention they are getting... they became powerful and cruel. Now that the right time has come, the evil sorcerers are the one who save the people from them.

It was very twisted!

I sighed and closed the book. Napadungaw ako sa labas ng bintana... mas lalo lang lumakas ang ulan. The hallways are calm. Walang ni isang taong napapadaan—yet here I am. In one of its window, nakapulupot ang kumot sa katawan at giniginaw ng sobra. I like being here. Peaceful and a perfect place to unwind. I stared outside of it. Sa sobrang lakas ng ulan na 'to, malayong may mga taong mangangahas pang lumabas. In my case, I'd rather stay here and chill.

Rainy days are for calming oneself. The best doctor to think straight.

Nakarinig ako ng kaluskos mula sa likod. I shrugged it off. Habang napapaisip ako, naalala ko ang iisang bagay na nasa bulsa ko. I sighed before fishing it. It's a gold necklace... with three stars in it. Hindi magkatabi ang tatlo... The second star is in the middle while the other two were place in the opposite sides. Nakatitig lang ako sa necklace. This is too much.

Nakakailang buntong hininga ako habang mahigpit na hinahawakan ang regalo niya. Earlier was a blast to my system. I can't even take in everything after what Wina said to me. Nakakainis. Nakakagago. Bakit kami umabot sa ganoon? Kulang na lang isapak niya sa akin ang katangahan ko. I can't even think straight!

Ibinalik ko sa bulsa ang kwintas na hawak ko. Napapailing sa hindi mawaring dahilan. He knew! Of course! Masyado na akong obvious para hindi mapansin. But the thought of confessing to him? The last thing I'd rather do in this world. Never. I'll put some boundaries between friendship and love. Kung sa dalawang 'yon, masisira man... Mas pipiliin kong manahimik at manatiling maging kaibigan niya. Ayoko lang may mawala.

"You know what? You're such a headstrong girl, pero napaka duwag mo sa aspetong pag-amin ng nararamdaman." Like what Wina said... Duwag ako. Kaya pangangatawanan ko na kesa may masaktan akong iba. "Bakit hindi ka pa rin umaamin sa kanya?" Ang tanong niyang hindi ko sinagot ng maayos. I'm confused.
