WA Special Chapter 2 | Another Pulse

They're happily chatting with their family when Uryll saw his wife aching and clutching her arm. She's in the corner silently enduring the pain. Natigilan si Uryll sa pakikipag-usap kay Stanley nang makita niyang kumapit si Nathalia sa pader nang muntik itong matumba.

Stanley's telling him something when he cut him off.

"Wait." He said and stood up.

Hindi alam ni Nathalia kung bakit bigla nalang siyang nagkaroon ng mga pasa sa balikat at braso. Kagabi niya pa 'to napansin nang nagbihis siya. Hindi niya sinabi kay Uryll dahil baka magalala ito sakanya, hindi paman 'yun nakikinig sakanya kapag alam ni Uryll na nasasaktan siya. He'll scold her if that happens. Ayaw ni Uryll na nasasaktan ako. He's over protective like that. Malaki na talaga ang ipinagbago ni Uryll. Mas lalo pa nga itong nagbago nang ikasal sila.

They're now happily married for a year and half.

Anak nalang ang kulang sakanila.

Until now, wala pa rin.

May namumuong takot sakanya patungkol sa bagay na 'yun. Natatakot siyang baka hindi niya magawang bigyan ng anak si Uryll at maging dahilan 'yun para masira ang binubuo nilang pamilya. She's freaking scared, and never been that scared in her whole life. Ngayon lang. She's also eager to have a child on her own. Si Wina meron na. She gave birth last two months. Naunahan pa siya nito. Stanley was so happy with that.

Who would have thought that they're the end game?

Gabi-gabi siyang nagdadasal na sana dumating na nga.

Uryll was always easy on her. Hindi siya nito pine-pressure kasi alam naman niyang dadating din 'yun sakanila. She's thankful for that. Pero ramdam niya ang inggit ni Uryll sa tuwing hawak nito ang mga anak ni Stan. And, she can't help but feel bad about that. She knew Uryll's just being patient, pero pag hindi na ito nakatiis... He'll brag about that topic. She's trying to be strong and still hoping for the best.

Pagkalapit na pagkalapit ni Uryll sakanya, tuluyan na siyang naiyak sa sakit. "Uryll..." She called out her husband's name. Kunot noong lumapit si Uryll. Worries are evident in his face. "What happened? Anong masakit? You look... pale." Niyakap siya ni Uryll at hinaplos ang buhok.

It feels home in Uryll's arms.

"I... I don't know." She confess. "I had these bruises last night." Humiwalay siya ng yakap kay Uryll at itiinaas ang braso para maipakita sakanya ang mga pasa. It's getting worst. "Hindi pa ganito kaitim 'to kagabi, ngayon lang lumala... I thought it was nothing."

He creased his brow even more. "And you didn't even bother to tell me last night?" Tumaas ang boses nito dahilan para maiyak pa siya lalo. She's seeing Uryll like what he was way back. "You think it was nothing? These nothings are getting worst! Look at that!" He scolds.

This is what she's talking about.

"I'm... I'm sorry. Hindi ko alam kung anong nangyayari saakin. These past few days, I'm feeling kind of weird. My Imaclum's at its peak."

"Something had happened! Hindi ka nagsasabi, I thought we agreed on this matter Nathalia? I told you to tell me whatever it is. You lied again!"

She felt guilty about that. "I'm sorry." She said once again.
