Reflections (Poetry)

i hate you.

I can't believe you've done this to me,
I thought we had it all,
but knowing we don't anymore,
is like hitting a brick wall.

my heart aches with emptiness
and envy floods through my mind,
why did I not see it before?
how could I be so blind?

I hate you for what you've done,
I hate you for what you said,
I hate that you've taken my heart,
and stomped on every tiny shred.

I bet you really love this,
watching me bleed and cry
you never really loved me,
you didn't even say goodbye.

well I don't need you,
I can do this all alone,
I should be used to it by now,
cause it's all I've ever known.
