have you ever loved
somebody so much,
that just the sound of their name makes you blush?
a simple text or call
in the middle of the night,
their soft gentle breaths
as their hold you so tight,
the stare that they give you
when they think no ones looking,
their arms round your waist
as you do some casual cooking,
the secrets they whisper
and trust no one else with,
the butterflies in your stomach
that you thought were a myth.
every action, every word,
is all that you need,
when capturing your heart,
no one else will succeed.
