Reflections (Poetry)

deeper than skin.

some people are insecure,
but why can't they see
that beauty is in them,
they just need to set it free.

they think they are fat,
or perhaps too thin,
but the beauty they have,
is deeper than skin.

they glow with happiness,
radiate with joy,
but they are blind to this wonder,
they are out to destroy.

they believe they are ugly,
and no one will want them,
they can't understand,
they're the brightest of gems.
